I don't own anything.
I lie awake in bed trying to rid my mind. Derek. His stupid name rings over and over again. It's driving me insane. He did it again today. He looked at me.
I was walking in the hall toward my math class. Emily was at my side chattering on about some break-up. The hockey team was standing in a group by a vending machine.
As always, my eyes were drawn to Derek. His perfect body. His smooth sensual voice. Those eyes. Soft, yet, fierce chocolate brown. Just calling for me. He was calling for me.
Just as I looked up into his eyes Emily and I were passing him. For the briefest moment, he looked down at me. It was one of those times when you could just tell he was looking your way. And for a second I thought maybe he felt something.
Then it was gone. His attention turned back to the girl hanging off his arm. He turned back to his friends. And forgot all about me.
I sit in my computer chair staring at the wall. I'm trying to look right through it into her room. I want to see her beautiful face. Those amazing eyes. Long warm auburn hair. She's making me crazy. I saw her almost looking at me in the hall today.
I was standing by a vending machine with the guys trying to get the dumb blonde off my arm. She was getting a little annoying with her talk about lip-gloss. Tell me, who cares?
I looked out over the hall trying to get her to take the hint that I didn't want her to be there when the most beautiful creature I'd ever seen caught my eyes. Again.
Casey was walking with Emily. I swear I saw her looking at me. Her cobalt eyes slid over me. My head became light and everything else disappeared. That was until what's-her-name, lip-gloss girl, tugged my shirt asking me what I was looking at. I glanced down at her briefly before looking back up at Casey but she'd already disappeared.
I'm not sure why I wrote this. It was random and I'm also not sure I like it. Please tell me what you think. Flames are welcome.
