This suddenly came to me last night when I was wondering "If Iri is so perfect, what the hell happened to Ilya?"
Then I remembered her driving skills, and this happened.
Warnings: Ilya losing her "innocence".
Disclaimer: I do not own Fate/Zero.
Irisviel von Einzbern was perfect-she was beautiful, kind, made the perfect wife, and was a healer to boot.
Her daughter, Ilyasviel von Einzbern, was an obedient child, with a challenging personality, but just as lovely as her dear mother.
Until the day Iri took Ilya out for a drive.
Now while Iri could be called an angel in every sense of the world, her driving skills came from Hell. She had lived in that secluded castle upon the snowy mountain all her life; had never once ventured out until the 4th Holy Grail War broke out. Naturally, as a result from being in the unrestrained environment all her life, when Emiya Kiritsugu bought her a car, she learned to drive without restraint. She even came to call the car her "favorite toy".
One day, to bond as mother and child, Iri asked Ilya if she would like to take an adventure outside the castle. Little Ilya's eyes had sparkled at the thought of being able to see the outside world, and to spend time with her dear mother.
As Iri put the key in the ignition, a scary look fell upon her face. Ilya, confused, looked up only a second before screaming in terror as the car shot off like a rocket.
The rubber burned the road, screeching to match Ilya's screams on each turn it took. On straight-a-ways the car reached impossible speeds, and poor little Ilya only screamed louder each time she thought they would hit something.
Down the mountain path, with no one in the way, Iri controlled the car like it was an extension of her own body. She squealed the tires on the turns, car dangerously close to rolling over, before doing it again and again. Each time an animal came into her way, she would make impossible paths to dodge it, as each time it was too scared by the oncoming terror to move. When a fallen tree blocked the path, she used the e-brake to stop just before it, hitting the gas as soon as her tires were pointed for a way around it.
Poor Ilya never had the chance to scream "STOP!"
Iri continued this way until they reached town, a dangerous smile on her face the entire time. With each screech of the tire, each turn, each obstacle, her heart beat faster and faster, adrenaline pumping at insane speeds.
By the time they reached the town, Ilya had passed out cold, terror forever etched into her shining innocent eyes, and body paler than normal.
Ilyasviel von Einzbern would never be the same again.
