Okay, this is my FIRST ever Kataang fanfic. It's not very good, but whatever. I wrote it. Heehee.

I Trust You

"First, you drag me into penguin sledding. Then you make me help you save the world. Now this? Aang, you are a bad influence on me." Katara said, taking the stairs two at a time. She was excited, but he couldn't know that.

"Hey, for the record, you loved penguin sledding. And it was kind of your idea." Aang retorted, noticing how giddy she was.

"My idea? Oh, please! The first thing you ever said to me was, "Will you go penguin sledding with me?" I only went along because...well...I...had..to. Yeah, I had to." She snorted, and turned her face away as it turned red.

Aang stopped running for a second.

"You like me back then, didn't you? Didn't you?!"

Katara stopped running and sighed. "Why do I love you again? Enlighten me, O great Avatar."

Aang grinned. "Because I rescued you and your people, used a legendary technique to defeat a ruthless criminal, was in love with you from the moment I met you and clean up well to boot."

Katara smiled. "Oh yeah. Now I remember." She stepped toward him. He started to put his arms around her waist to pull her closer, but then he remembered what they came up there to do. He picked her up and airbended them up the remainder of the stairs. She squealed slightly when he touched her legs, but then she was more concerned with him not dropping her. But, then again, when had he ever dropped her?

Once they reached the top, they looked down from where they were. They could almost see the entire Earth Kingdom. There was the outer wall of Ba Sing Se in the distance, and if you really looked you could just barely make out the eastern sea boarder.

Katara inhaled sharply. "Aang! This is incredible! We must be over a mile in the air!" Aang set her down next to the railing.

"Aang, we've done some extreme stuff before, but this is insane!" Katara said, silently hoping that he'd made her do it anyway.

"Katara, have I ever given you reason not to trust me?" He put her arm through his as he leaned in and quietly kissed her on the mouth. She smiled and rested her head on his chest, slipping her arms around his neck.

"Airbend away. I trust you." She paused, "Just, please, try not to do anything, you know, stupid." He chuckled, bent his knees slightly and jumped.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!"
