Chapter 1: Misery Naruto was in front of Sasuke's body. The raven-haired boy was lying down on his back, blood dripping from his eye and chest. A shuriken star blinded his right eye, and several kunai knives stuck out of this body at random places, but mostly on his chest. Sasuke's breathing was extremly heavy, and his arms were broken and useless. He cursed himself for losing to that boy... Naruto.The chicken. The loser who always fell behind him. But Sasuke always knew, Naruto was steadily catching up to him, always, getting closer and closer. Now look... Naruto had surpassed him by far, and beaten him senseless. Curse him. Naruto stared down at Sasuke, and smiled. His eyes were covered with his hair, and shadows were draped over his face. The blonde slowly gripped a kunai in his hand, and brandished it in front of Sasuke. He grinned even more, then squatted. He held it to Sasuke's throat, and then shook his hair from his eyes. They were red... burning fire red... they were so evil... Sasuke couldn't believe that this was Naruto. His eyes widened with fear. Him. Sasuke. Being afraid of Naruto. It was unbelievable. But Sasuke kept his cool. He said a remark that triggered even more of Naruto's rage. "C-cmon... do it... chicken." Sasuke said, with a smirk. Naruto roared, then slashed his throat. Blood splattered on the blonde's face, and then Naruto dropped to his knees.
