A/N: Just another random story that popped up inside my head screaming "Hey, write me!" I have no idea what brought this on but, whatever, as always enjoy. I think it wanted to be cute.

Disclaimer: I do not own Cadderly or Danica, they were created by and are the property of R.A. Salvatore. I don't want to steal them I just thought they should get a little screen time too. Also, if you start laughing uncontrollably and your side splits open from it somehow, it is not my fault. By reading this story you have effectively signed a liability waiver. Much love!

Wait A Minute!

Danica sat on the divan gently cradling her belly. It had not been long since the defeat of the Chaos Curse and Cadderly's father. It was still strange to Danica that her beloved Cadderly, a noble and kind priest of Deneir, had been sired by such a vile person. The beautiful monk pushed the thought from her head. Abalister Bonaduce was gone now, dead. And Cadderly was still alive.

Like everyone else, she had thought that he was going to die with the completion of the new Spirit Soaring. He had looked bad enough at the end of the ceremonies. But he had lived, though now he looked more an old man than the young one he truly was. Danica did not care. She loved him and that would never change. He was getting better now, in only a few months he had regained most of his abilities though he often still tired quickly. During that time her belly had swelled, a reflection of her joy perhaps. She had been hoping to conceive, and she had. Cadderly's child was growing inside her. 'Children.' she corrected herself. She was pregnant with twins. A wide smile formed on the monk's face. She couldn't wait to tell him.

Danica ran her hand tenderly over her rounding abdomen and wondered what their children would look like. She wanted them to look like him, mostly in case he didn't make it through the rest of their lives. But also because she knew that any child sired by her husband would likely be a beautiful sight in any case plus, they were his which was more than enough. Danica mulled over the best way to inform him of the news. She had just found out about the twins early that morning when she went to look in with one of the clerics of the new library. After casting a simple, and now perfectly wonderful, little spell she had learned that one, she was having twins. And two, that one was male and the other female.

She was brought out of her musings when a soft knock came at her door. "Danica? Are you well?" Cadderly's soft voice asked from the other side.

The monks almond shaped eyes widened with a mischievous excitement. "I'm fine dearest, come in. I have something to tell you."

Cadderly stepped carefully into the room. Walking was still a bit difficult with his newly old bones, but he was getting better. He smiled lovingly at his beautiful wife, the reason he was still alive at all. "Yes? What do you have to tell me?"

Danica's eager smile widened. "Well," she started slowly just to tease him. "I saw one of the other clerics today and I found out about the baby..." She let her leading words hang in the air.

"And?" Cadderly pressed.

"There's a boy and there's a girl..."She continued in the same tone and looked on with satisfaction as her husband's expression started out as fondness and then shock.

"Wait- wait you mean there's more than one?" he stuttered. He ran his hands over his white hair. Was she serious?

"We're having twins!" Danica declared happily. She laughed harder as Cadderly fainted to the floor with a loud thud. She shook her head affectionately as she easily lifted him onto their bed. "I love you too, dear." she whispered into his ear. Then she stood laughing once more, she still had things to plan after all.
