First of all, Please don't hate me if you have read my other stuff. I had to give up because I lost everything when my computer died… *sniff sniff* anyways I decided it is just best I try something new with akuroku and all that jazz. So on to the story…
Disclaimer: I don't own KH, if I did my life would be fantastic and it would only contain akuroku yaoi.
"I can't believe you Riku. My own cousin? Really? We're so fucking done!"
"Roxas, be mad at me, but don't be mad at Sora, please. It's my fault, and I'm sorry."
"I'm going to be mad at whoever the fuck I want to be mad at Riku! In fact, I think I am mad at Sora because he knew I was dating you just as much as you did. So just leave me the hell alone. And I hope you two are happy with each other!" Tears are forming in Roxas's eyes as he says the last part and turns away. He can't let Riku see him like this. if he does, bad things will happen.
Roxas crosses the street and begins walking to his house in the rain. Pulling out his iPod, he puts on the song "Headfirst For Halos" by My Chemical Romance, and loses himself in the beginning guitar solo.
He passes a fire hydrant and kicks it, "I can't believe I fucking trusted him! He's been cheating on me for 3 months now!" He walks until he is in front of a huge mansion; his key slides in the door easily and he lets himself in.
"Hey Roxas! How are you?"
"Aunt Kairi, I really don't want to talk about it. I'm going to take a shower."
"Okay honey, you know I'm here for you, right?" A look of worry crosses her face.
"Yeah, I know. I just don't want to talk about it."
Roxas walks away and upstairs to his room. He yanks his headphones out, still playing the same song on repeat. "The red ones help me fly and the blues ones help me fall." He reaches next to his bed, finding the little bottle of pills he keeps there for these moments. He pops out three and swallows them instantly, no water needed after years of practice. He then grabs his flannel pajama bottoms and goes across the hall to his bathroom. He turns on the shower to its hottest setting and gets undressed, waiting for the water to heat up. The water pouring from his shower makes the sound of beating helicopter blades against his skin, and the too hot water burns his flesh. The pills are taking affect, and Roxas revels in the new feeling of not really feeling anything at all. The numbness is so welcoming, inviting him to just relax in the nothingness all too familiar to him.
He gets out and takes his time drying himself off. The pills are wearing off, making him more tired. Tomorrow is a Monday, and he'll have to see Riku and Sora together. The thought makes him want to cut his pain away. But he doesn't tonight. He just crawls into his bed and sleeps.
An alarm wakes him up in the middle of the night. It flashes across his phone: Two year anniversary with Riku! Roxas throws his phone across his room and turns away from the wretched device. When he falls asleep, it's a dreamless one.
A different alarm sounds, this one from his clock, signaling morning. He walks over and picks up his phone, still flashing the too happy reminder of yesterday, with a giant crack down the front of the screen. Aunt Kairi is going to kill me when she finds out.
The house is empty as usual in the morning, and Roxas pours himself a bowl of cereal. "Happy Flakes my ass. More like rainbow barf in a box." He mumbles to himself as he takes a seat at the small breakfast bar. The cereal is a tasteless hodge-podge of various fruit flavors that blend into a single, brown flavor. "I guess I got to get walking to school now."
Don't kill me for it being a bit short. I'm trying to get a feel for the story. Anyways review please, I need it. Also if anyone finds a mistake, no matter how small, please call me out on it. I want to be a better writer and it is greatly appreciated. I guess that's all for now. I'm outa here. ~Mr. Z.
