Yellow's Blog of Yay!
Entry 1
Mood: Yay!
Today is an awesome day! Because I made a blog today! My spell check does not acknowledge the word "blog," but that's okay, I just have to add it to the dictionary.
Sky says I'm getting off topic. I started this blog to improve my words! Oh, I mean "word-use." This way I can learn to be eloquent with my words! I don't know what eloquent means, but it sounds nice; like a flower or something. I bet it's a blue flower; eloquent sounds blue. Not blue sad, blue colour.
Did you know colour can be spelled with or without a "u"? It's true! It's cool too though, because now you have two ways to spell colour and so colours become twice as awesome! Oh! Also, you can write colour in different languages! Like in French, colour becomes "couleur". And in Japanese, it becomes "iro". Now it's four times as awesome! But there are lots and lots of languages, so colours have got to be even more awesome then that. That's so much awesomeness in one word!
Ah, you know what else? Each colour also has its own word! Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple. And the weird ones like Periwinkle or Chartreuse. And those words have words in every language! That's so many words, my head is spinning!
Colours are awesome, never forget.
They also make very pretty sunsets.
Sky's extras.
Greetings everyone, I am Sky the Swellow. At the end of Yellow's blogs I will be adding additional information when I see fit, as Yellow the Pichu failed to even mention that he's a Pichu. I shall have him do a proper introduction in his next blog.
Eloquent is not a flower, it's a way of communicating fluently
Colour does have two spellings. The spelling without "u" is used in America; the spelling with "u" is used everywhere else.
There are over 6000 languages in the world, if we assume that each one has a word for "colour" and words for the six primary and secondary colours Yellow mentioned; then there are over 47 thousand words on Earth to describe colours.
Sunsets are very beautiful, I enjoy watching them.
