A/N: Written for the challenge at the Bellatrix Lestrange forum: Write a drabble about a character/ship you dislike.

She finds him sitting at the foot of the fountain, lost in thought.

"Are you all right?"

He stares at the ground.

"That woman made my parents the way they are."

Ginny thinks of mouthing I'm sorry, putting her hand on his arm, her head on his chest.

"I wish I had been the one to follow her," he says.

She touches his face briefly and turns to go, because if she stays she will tell the truth. The truth that he isn't ready to hear. Still, she whispers the words softly to herself.

It wouldn't have brought them back.
