The Day When Bella Got A Blocked Nose.
Bella woke up and immediately knew something was wrong.
She made a mental checklist:
Edward-Check Charlie-Check All Working Limbs In Their Correct Places-Check
So what was wrong?
What could be wrong?
She sniffed to see what Charlie was making for breakfast.
She couldn't smell anything-Her nose was still there so what was it?
Then a thought hit her, she had a blocked nose.
Why didn't she think of it before?
She sighed.
"Bella, what's wrong?" Edward looked at her, worrying.
"Nothing Edward, just a blocked nose." She reached for a tissue and blew her nose.
"But Bella, what if it becomes infected?" He looked really worried, imagining the worst.
"It won't Edward, trust me" Bella got out of bed and motioned to the window, "Off you go Edward, I'll see you in half an hour"
"Fine Bella, But I really don't think you should go to school today" He said, looking doubtful, but walking over to the window anyway.
"Edward, I'll be fine!" Bella walked over to her bathroom and turned around. "Now go!"
Edward climbed out the window and Bella went for a shower.
After her shower, she got dressed and ready for school, then went downstairs for breakfast.
Charlie was already sitting at the table, eating scrambled egg (that's the only thing he knew how to make), and gestured to a plate for Bella.
"Mornin' Bells" He said, looking up at Bella, after having stuffed his scrambled egg down his throat at the speed of light.
"Hey Dad" Bella sat down and started eating.
"You alright Bells? You sounded kinda bleak." He looked worried.
Bella inwardly groaned.
"Yes Dad, I'm alright, just a stuffy nose is all" She pushed back her chair and took the plates over to the counter.
Charlie looked relieved.
"Okay Bells, Im going to work now. Taco Tuesday?" He said as he got up.
"Yeah. See you later then" She started washing the plates as Charlie left.
The doorbell rang, and Bella put the plates away and grabbed her jacket and schoolbag.
She opened the door, and all of the Cullen's were standing there...
Emmett looked amused, Rosalie looked bored, Edward looked worried, Alice looked amused, Esme looked worried, Jasper looked amused and Carlisle just sighed and looked around as if to say "Yeah, Edward's over reacting"
Carlisle spoke first, sounded very bored. "Hi Bella, Edward's over reacting, and wanted me to come check you anyway, so I did it to shut him up, mind if we come in?"
Bella looked at them, then started hyterically laughing.
Edward spoke "Oh no! Carlisle, I think there's something wrong with her because of her blocked nose! What's happening?"
Carlisle looked at him for a moment, then slowly said "Well, Edward, It may be that the situation is so hysterically funny that it made her laugh. Maybe you should go back to school..."
Edward looked at him incredulously.
Bella started sneezing.
Snot covered Edward.
Snot covered Carlisle.
Snot covered Alice.
Snot covered Esme.
Snot covered Emmett.
Snot covered Jasper.
Snot covered Rosalie.
Snot covered Bella.
Snot covered the door.
"I feel better now" Bella said, reaching for a tissue, "But I'm ditching school, who wants to join me"
They all cheered and went to take a shower.
They spent the rest of the day having fun....All because of Bella's snotty nose.
