Another World

Kagome could feel her fear as she ran through the tall overgrown grasses. She was being pursued by a demon that was stronger than she had ever met and her powers didn't work on it. Inuyasha and the others had simply disappeared. One moment, they were talking along with her as they continued their journey to finding the Shards of the Shikon no Tama and then the next, a breeze blew through the landscape, making Kagome sneeze and close her eyes for just a second from the chill. When she opened them, they were gone.
And then came my demise...thought Kagome. Not that I'm dead yet.
Suddenly, Kagome tripped on an unforeseen boulder and fell down, scraping her self and getting muddied. Panting, she quickly stood but then she heard the terrifying roar of the demon as it came closer and closer.
"Oh no," Kagome whispered shakily as she turned her head slightly backwards. The dark green skinned demon flying on its wings would very shortly and quickly catch her. She quaked in her shoes and tried to run in a desperate escape.
Run dammit! she commanded her legs.
They wouldn't obey her. Her knees shook and she slowly knelt on the ground.
Inuyasha. Inuyasha! Helllppp!
"INUYASHA!!!" Kagome cried out in a ear deafening scream.
A light blinded her and she had to close her eyes. She then covered them with her arms. She didn't know how long she was like that. Neither did she know how the light happened or how long it stayed.
Eventually, Kagome felt a difference in the planes that she was in. The ground no longer felt rocky with rocks biting into her skin. Instead, it felt soft and wet, as if she was on a watered land and the air was warm, making her start to sweat. She couldn't hear the demon.
"Lady," someone said, at the same time poking a finger into her shoulder.
Kagome jumped out of her skin with fright. Slowly and cautiously, she uncovered her eyes, letting her hands drop to her sides. What she saw was a young girl kneeling beside her, staring curiously at her.
"Who, who are you?" Kagome asked. "Are you a demon?"
I'm being rude, Kagome thought. She could just be a normal human child. But what if—Stop jumping to conclusions!
"I'm sorry," Kagome apologized. "I shouldn't make assumptions. That was rude of me."
The girl gave a laugh. "No need to apologize. I am a demon."
"What?!" Kagome started inching away.
"Well, that's what all of the others tell me. I don't mind if you think so too. It's always been like this." The last sentence was accompanied by a sad lonely look.
"What has?" Kagome asked, her voice filled with sympathy.
Suddenly, the girl went from sad to furious anger. "Don't feel sorry for me!" she yelled.
"Wow, you have backbone," Kagome said awkwardly, giving a small smile.
"Uh, yea. Sorry 'bout that. Didn't mean to yell at you. I'm Mura, what's your name?"
"Kagome Higurashi."
"Well Kagome, I don't know how you got here, but welcome to Seletera."
It was then that Kagome noticed the odd clothing that Mura was wearing.
Seletera! I've never even heard of a place like this! Where am I exactly?
"Oh, and Kagome, what's with your clothing???"
I'm going to faint, Kagome thought, her head pounding, and I never faint...
----------------------------------------
Well, it seems like Kagome's adventures will be in another world. Shall I continue the story or leave it as???
