Summary: [Spoilers for Manga] after the awaking of his demons, Natsu Dragneel accepted that he is E.N.D, not just a part of it. But which sacrifices are necessary to realize this? -One shot/ Rated T for blood and violence

Fire.

There was fire everywhere.

The battle of the old rivals ended terrible. Lucy didn't know what to do. She looked at her friend, and saw a dying Gray before her. Juvia was kneeled down besides her beloved, and Wendy was working as hard as she could to safe Gray.

But that wasn't the only disturbed thing Lucy noticed.

Grays guild emblem was covered in blood, and a trace of claws all over his worn out body. On his emblem was a deep wound. Lucy stared shocked at Grays dying body.

"Gray-sama, who did this to you?" Juvia asked, trying to not choke in her tears.

Gray grinned, pointed at the pink haired male and said "E.N.D did this. Natsu didn't do anything." He breathed out his last breath, smiling at his friend.

Juvia started to cry, and hugged Grays dead body tightly. "Gray..." She whispered. Wendy was crying. "I-it's my fault, it's cause I'm weak. I'm sorry, Gray." Lucy couldn't help but smile while tears were flowing out of her eyes. After everything that happened between these two, Gray still believed in Natsu. That's why Lucy was determinated to save Natsu.

Lucy walked to her friend and said softly "Natsu? Are you still here?"

Of course, the teen didn't responded. He was breathing heavily, looking at his claw-like hands. In one eye, tears were forming. Lucy noticed this. "You are still here, aren't you, Natsu?"

Natsu spoke "I never left. It wasn't E.N.D who did this, Luce. I am E.N.D." Lucy ignored his statement. "Natsu, you would never hurt your friends. You may be rivals with Gray, you may be a little destructive, but you are Natsu Dragneel, our friend, member of Fairy Tail. I know you wouldn't hurt him. You love your guild, don't you?"

Natsu was trembling. He couldn't shake of the sent of blood. Grays blood. It smelled delicious. A bloodthirst came over Natsu. He looked at Lucy, and whispered "I'm sorry Luce." He took of his scarf, and said "I'm so sorry, Igneel." He walked over to Lucy, and gave his scarf. "I don't deserve this, you can have it." He smiled one last time at Lucy, and walked away. In his hand was a necklace that once belonged to Gray

That was the last time Lucy saw Natsu.

Natsu left that day. He left the guild, his friends, he left everyone behind. He was searching for two certain mages. A dragon, and a black wizard. With this new power, he would kill both of them. He would fulfill the dying wish of his father and his friend.

"Natsu, destroy Zeref, and make an end to E.N.D."

A/N: I have nothing much to say op about this, except that I'm sorry. This idea started out as a story about Natsu's fight with Gray, when Gray realized he was E.N.D, so I would write when they are fighting, but that idea sucked. So the title doesn't make sense, but I won't change it. Beside that I'm pretty upset. I just realize tbat they are going to animate the Tartaros Arc, and with that comes a couple of scenes i don't want to see. Y'all know with scenes I mean. This is inspired by the newest manga chapter, so hope you enjoy!
