"And you want to become a full demon?" Kagome grumbled as they stepped through the portal. "There is obviously something wrong with your brain."
"There is nothing wrong with my brain, wench," Inuyasha shot back.
"You are clearly an idiot if you wanna turn into that," she snapped. "I can see it now: 'This Inuyasha wants ramen, wench, this Inuyasha blah blah that, this Inuyasha blah blah this.' And let's not forget the weird furry thing and the way your face is gonna be stuck for the rest of eternity – like you've smelled the crap you've stepped in."
"I am not going to turn into that asshole!"
Kagome snorted and rolled her eyes. "I'd bet a hundred bucks that you turn into an exact replica," she said. "The only thing you'll have going for you is that at least you don't look like you could pass for a girl – and a pretty one at that – in a kimono, I suppose."
Inuyasha pulled a face. "Let's hear you say that to the asshole's face, I ain't saving your ass then, wench."
She continued on as if she hadn't heard him. "You probably won't be poisonous either. And you'll lose the ears. But you'll be an asshole, and you'll be just like him."
"Would you quit saying that?! I am not going to turn into Sesshomaru!"
"So you aren't going to use the jewel to become a full demon?" Kagome said disbelievingly as she started towards the village.
Inuyasha spluttered, "I didn't say that!"
"So now you wanna turn into a human? Inuyasha, that's not a good idea either," she called back.
Kagome squeaked in surprise when Inuyasha dropped in front of her. "I'm not turning myself into a fucking human, bitch!" he snarled.
Kagome nodded sagely. "So you'll stay hanyou then," she said and sidestepped him, patting him on the shoulder as she passed. "'Sides, you're strong enough as you are, you did just cut off his arm, and you've beaten every full demon we've come across."
"Wait, what, how did you-"
Kagome spun on her heel and walking backwards held up her hand ticking off fingers as she spoke. "Well, you don't wanna turn into your brother, so full demon is out. And being human wouldn't suit you, so no wishing for all human blood. So the only thing to do is to stay hanyou and find something else to wish for when we complete the jewel. Yeah?"
"Wench, I didn't say any of that!"
