I'm hoping that this will be a collections of mini ficlets which will be base on the episode of EATG and the photos/stills for that episode. The ficlets may morphed into an actually story or they can stand on their own as a tag.
Title: A Moment of Regret
Disclaimers: Firstly, I do not own any rights to Stargate Atlantis.

Summary:There is just something about Teyla and John's reaction in one of those pictures from the episodes, EATG that has had wondering why Teyla seem trouble when the other characters are smiling. So the following fic is my thought what could be one of the reasons. I hope you guys like it. Reviews are welcome. It does help the muse.
Chapter 1
Liquid pools escaped her eyes, slowly running down her cheeks, a kind of sadness gripping her heart, her sullen face wearing the mask of her troubled heart. Teyla Emmagen stood on the balcony, looking out and upon on the horizon with its pristine azure water as far as the eyes could see and the huge bridge before her, but finding it hard to rejoice in the splendor of the moment. As the breeze wiped up the tendrils of her hair, Teyla was lost in her thoughts. She was too busy questioning her most recent decision to stay on Atlantis after they had learned that a Wraith's Hive ship had gotten the location to Earth. She and Ronon had chosen to stay on Atlantis knowing the Wraiths were headed to earth upon learning of the location of Earth. So she and Ronon had decided to stay, to fight, to fight for Atlantis, to fight against the Wraith's super Hive ship, a hive ship strengthen by a ZPM.
Teyla's decision to stay on Atlantis had occurred long before then. She had chosen to stay on John's team after the birth of her son knowing that any mission could be her last. Believing strongly that these missions will somehow result in a galaxy where her son could grow up without the fear of the Wraith. It was a belief that had stemmed from believing that John and his people were her people and the people of the Pegasus Galaxy real hope in truly defeating the Wraith. This was her initial reason to stay on Atlantic and to join John's team. But, as time passed there were other reasons too. Reasons she somehow she never took the time to examined. Reasons - that Atlantis had become her home too as well, she had friends here, people who she genuinely cared about. So she never regretted her ultimate decision to stay. But, now the consequence of those decisions was the possibility of her never seeing her son again.
It was a decision that now was breaking her heart. It was a decision that in her head, she still believed to be the right decision, but somehow in her heart, she can't help but feel she has failed her son. She has left her son without a mother. A son she may never get the opportunity to hold in a warm embrace again, to see his face light up with laughter, or smiling when he found something amusing. Her heart was in turmoil, breaking with the realization, as her tears continued to run down her cheeks, staining her hauntingly beautiful face.
"How're your holding up?" the voice questioned from behind her, penetrating her solitude of grief.
Pausing before she could reply, Teyla tried to compose herself before she could turned around to face him. She was trying to keep at bay the sadness that somehow had overwhelmed her. Her hand instinctively rose to wipe the tears from her eyes and cheeks before she could turn around to face him.
Teyla finally heard herself answered as she turned to reply. "I…, I thought you left with the others?"
John Sheppard saw Teyla's face as she turned to face him and what he saw on her face made him frowned.
