I recently just started watching this show and I got addicted. I noticed a lot of people focus on the relationship between either Lindsay w/ Cindy or Lindsay w/ Jill. So I thought it would be nice to show the relationship between Cindy and Jill because i think they have great chemistry. I might do another story with all three. This is my first one-shot, so i hope it's good. R/R.

"If we are friends, do you think you could stay till my parents get here?"

"Sure."

Jill sighed as she watched Cindy sleep. She was so scared when she saw Cindy lying there, bleeding on the ground. She thought she would never get the chance to tell her she was sorry. She reached out tentatively, not wanting to wake the sleeping beauty and brushed her hair away from her face. Cindy's breathing was calming to Jill and it reassured her that she was okay. Jill didn't know when it happened, but the little reporter burrowed her way into Jill's heart and she knew from that point on she would do whatever was necessary to keep her safe. She was special and Jill knew the group would never be the same when Cindy got there.

There seemed to be more light when she was around and she added to fun when it came to Lindsay. She also was one tough cookie. Taking blows from both her and Lindsay but remaining by their side no matter what, risking her life in what seemed like countless situations. Hell the girl even found herself to be arrested on multiple occasions. It surprised her how many times Lindsay and other's handcuffed her. But then she would put on the innocent face and reveal how she ended up in that situation, each one seeming funnier than the last. It brought a smile to herself the first time she heard about her. Lindsay said she went back to Theresa Woo's home and heard the reporter trying to escape. Lindsay said she had no grounds to hold her as she was telling the truth; she somehow managed to convince the super she was Theresa's sister. Man this girl could tell a story.

Jill shook her heard when she thought back to the Paul Galvin trial. Cindy was in the diner, talking about the case and then she mentioned her meeting with Paul Galvin's son. She was exasperated at how calm Cindy was about being taken hostage. All she could remember about the suspect was that he was very cute. Jill wanted so bad to reach across the table and shake her. Then she later on remember Lindsay asking her about hearing or seeing from Jamie Galvin, Cindy was so flustered, it was adorable, her attempts to lie to Lindsay. There was definitely more laughter since she joined the group.
Jill looked up to see Cindy's parents making their way over. Jill quickly bent over kissing Cindy on the cheek. "See you soon. Sleep tight babe."

Jill rose and greeted Cindy's parents before heading out. She took one last look to Cindy noticing the smile on her face before Jill headed out for the night. She intended on keeping her friendship with Cindy alive, because everyone could all use a little light their lives and Cindy was the light of the Women's Murder Club.
