Prologue
AN: My first story. Yay!

Fire and smoke could be seen from miles away. Screams of men, women, and even children could be heard.
A woman with long red hair and brown eyes couldn't help but cry as she watched her village, her home, her family, and her friends burn. No one saw the ambush coming. The men had all gone to try and fight the enemy ninja. It was up to the women to try and save the children, but there was no hope. The woman knew her husband wasn't coming back, nor were any of the other men. It was just her and the two babies sleeping soundly in her arms.
They looked so peaceful despite the destruction happening behind her. One wrapped in pink, while the other in blue. Neither looked more than three months old. The girl had a tuft of pink hair and dazzling jade eyes. The boy had black hair and the brightest blue eyes ever known to man. The heirs to the two, now massacred, clans. They would never know their history, power, or the future they were meant to have.
The woman looked down as both began to stir. Despite the grief and tears running down her face, she couldn't stop. She had to keep going. It was up to her to protect the heirs. She made a promise to both clans. The Haruno and Aizen heirs would survive no matter what.
'Sakura... Satoshi...I'll protect both of you with my life. I made a promise your parents and I plan on keeping it.'
