Disclaimer: I don't own CSI: Miami or any of the characters in it.
A/N: This poem is in connection with "Calleigh", which I wrote in November. People have asked me to make one in Calleigh's perspective of Ryan, so here it is. )
Ryan
She was always mesmerized by the green orbs that were his eyes,
like stories she, herself, can only read,
like chameleons blending into its surroundings,
like mood rings transforming into the colors of feelings.
His gorgeous smile spread across his handsome features,
sending goose bumps running up her arms,
like a distant star twinkling in the dark night,
like expensive pearls sparkling bright in the sun.
She enjoyed the feeling of his strong arms around her small figure,
like a frame to a beautiful picture,
like a blanket of protection,
like a barrier against evil.
She watched him concentrate as he worked, tuning the world out for better insight,
like a deejay lost in his music,
like a playwright busy with his muses,
like a conductor with his band assembly.
His multiple personas make up his character, all perfectly controlled,
like the breathing of a marathon runner,
like the relaxation of the mind in meditation.
She admired his strength like an anchor to a ship, the achievement of a scholar,
and yet it didn't take away from his kindness.
The kindness that had made her fall in love,
he was the most amazing man she'd met, no doubt,
humble as a child,
loving like a spouse.
He was hers for everlasting,
a friend,
a colleague,
a lover,
her Ryan.
A/N: Hope you all liked it. Any reviews will be nice. )
