AN: This takes place a few weeks after my previous one shot.
How To Rock A Meeting Of The Parents
Chapter 1:
"Nelson, its 6:00 AM on a Friday. Why on earth did you call us into the band room?" Stevie asked out loud with the rest of Gravity 5 looking on.
"As you all know, Grace and I have now been dating a couple weeks. And I think were ready to take the next step." Nelson says with an enthusiasm in his voice.
"Ah, the next step? Don't you think this is a little too soon, Nelson?" Zander asked to Nelson.
"Too soon? A lot of couples experience this quicker. Grace and I have decided why wait?" Nelson stated.
Zander got up off the sofa and said firmly "Why wait? You are so young, there is no reason to rush, how much clearer can I be?"
"Woah, Zander. If you really think it's too soon for us to be meeting each other's parents then…" Nelson said before being interrupted.
"Meet the parents? Oh, yeah. Of course that's what you meant" Zander said with a smile then sat down.
"What did you think I was talking about, Zander?" Nelson asks.
Kevin quickly chimed in "Oh, I think he thought you and Grace were talking about…"
Zander quickly covers Kevin's face from behind and says with a smile "Oh, just, you know. That."
"I think that's sweet, Nelson" Kacey said. Then Kacey adds with a smile.
"Why so nervous though? You are a great guy and well you impressed Grace, her parents can't be too hard."
"Ok, for one, Grace is a lot smarter then anybody gives her credit for sometimes." Nelson says and then adds.
"The thing is, I don't know how to impress her parents? I mean her dad is a Doctor and her mom is a Professor" Nelson says with a sigh and then leans back in the chair.
"I guess the apple did fall, far, far, far from the tree." Kacey responds with a chuckle.
"I'm serious; you guys are my friends, bandmates. I want to make a good impression." Nelson says.
Stevie decides to add something "Nelson, you are right. You are our friend, we know how much Grace means to you, we know how many years you have waited to be with her, and we know if any of us were in the same situation you would give your advice." And then Stevie adds "We will help you out, with anything you need."
"Stevie's right guys." Zander chimes. Then adds "We got your back Nelson."
"Totally" adds Kevin. Kacey then joins in "You know it."
Nelson get's up from the chair and says "You guys are the best."
"We know." Kacey says.
"Ohh" Kevin says while looking at his watch then adds "We need to get to the cafeteria before the breakfast pancakes turn into stew."
Kevin, Nelson, and Zander run off towards the cafeteria and slam the band room door.
"Such Gentleman" Kacey says.
"Yep, always" Stevie says with a laugh.
