The room was dark as Bolin and Iroh entered the attic of the pro-bending arena. They had just been out on a noodle binge after the Fire Ferrets won their match tonight. The others had gone with them, but had quit while they were ahead.

Bolin stumbled on something that was on the floor and the general thankfully caught him before the teen fell flat on his face.

"Whoa, dude," Bolin slurred.

Iroh laughed, trying to be quiet knowing that Mako and Korra were sleeping up in the loft, "You think you can get to the couch, buddy?"

"Don't make fun of me," Bolin stammered as he leaned against the taller man.

"Ok, ok. Let's get you over to the couch."

The earth-bender only gave a hiccup in response before they started to move across the room. Iroh let the other down onto the cushions, but Bolin had other plans as he pulled the man down with him and started to whine.

"Aww…you're gonna leave now, aren't you?"

"You'll be fine without me, Bo."

"No, I won't. It's sooo cold on the couch."

Iroh looked over to see a blanket. He grabbed it and handed it to Bolin, who gave it a mournful look.

"That's not what I meant, cap *hic* tain…besides you can't go home all alone."

The inebriated teen did have a point and right now he didn't have any other conclusion but to join Bolin on the couch because he could barely think straight. The younger man used the last ounce of strength he had to push Iroh down and placed himself on top of him.

Bolin came to consciousness and a world of pain. He clamped his eyes shut at the blinding lights and tried to will himself back to sleep. It didn't work. As he grew accustomed to the pain, he began to feel other sensations. He had been sleeping face down and the surface beneath him was warm and firm and…moving? It slowly rose and fell.

The teen curiously opened an eye to look at his surroundings. He was in the rebuilt attic where he lived. And on the couch. Flexing his muscles, Bolin heard a groan underneath him. Slowly moving his head to look up, Bolin saw the familiar face of Iroh. He was laying on the general…well…He never would have guessed that.

Iroh had a peaceful look upon his face as he half-sat up against the arm of the couch, asleep. Bolin stared for a moment before he heard a noise from the other side of the attic. When the teen looked, it was nothing. He turned back to be met with the most beautiful amber, honey eyes.

"Oh! …Morning, general," Bolin nervously spoke.

Iroh gave a deep chuckle that the earth-bender felt reverberate through his chest.

"Did you sleep well?" Iroh whispered, knowing all too well that the younger man had a headache.

"Umm, yeah."

"It's still early, so rest before you have to go to practice."

Bolin blushed as he slowly lowered his head back down onto the man's chest.

After Bolin shut his eyes, he felt warm arms wrap around him.

"I can't remember the last time I've been this comfortable," Iroh yawned.

Despite the initial awkwardness, Bolin had to agree. It was nice. He brought up his arm that was slung over the edge of the couch and stretched it up to loop around the man's neck.

The general hummed, appreciatively, "That's perfect."

"Yeah…"

"Whoa-ho-ho, what do we have here?" Korra boomed from above.

Bolin and Iroh looked over from where they cuddled to see Korra and Mako climbing down the ladder from the space above. Korra seemed amused, but Mako was far from in it.

The avatar jabbed her boyfriend in the stomach, "Stop looking like you're about to throw up. I think they look cute together."

Bolin stuffed his face back into the general's chest and simply groaned, "Stop talking so damn loud."

Korra and Iroh laughed in unison. Mako was completely confused.
