CHAPTER 1--Math book attack!
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" Sonic yelled while running down the street. He looked back; Marina the raccoon was chasing him with a Math book. "Oh what did I do this time!" Sonic asked himself.
Flashback (3 minutes ago)(The park)
"Hey, Marina! What's up?" Sonic said while sitting down on the bench next to Marina. She moved her tail so that Sonic wouldn't sit on it. Marina was staring at a twig. They were silent for a moment. "Aren't you going to chase me?" Sonic asked. Marina smiled and asked him calmly, "Do you like math?" She took out a math book. "No…" Sonic said confused. Marina smiled. "Maybe you'd like it, if it was stuck in your head!" Instantly she hit him over the head with the math book. Sonic fell down and Marina was about to hit him in the face, but luckily (for him) he got up just in time and ran away.
End Flashback "SAVE ME FROM THAT PHYCOTIC RACCOON!" Sonic shook Manic's shoulders. "Sorry dude, but I can't. She hates you, and that's that!" Manic shrugged. Sonic placed $5 in his hand. Marina finally caught up. Sonic hid behind his younger brother. "Move Manic…" she said nicely. "I am sorry Marina, but as a brother I must do my best to protect my brother as well as he protects me. Therefore, You---" Manic was interrupted when Marina asked, "How much did he pay you?" Manic held up his hand to indicate that he was paid 5 bucks. Marina held up the math book. Manic put Sonic in front of him and said, "Marina, how about you let him go. Just for once." Marina glared at Sonic, but then stared at Manic. She could resist him. Wow! He is so nice, cute, and cool and…lots of other things! She thought to herself. "Okay, just this once." Marina put the book in her backpack. Sonic and Manic were surprised, she had NEVER done that before. "Really?" Sonic asked with hope. "Nah!" Marina lunged at Sonic and started punching him. Manic couldn't help but laugh. Tails passed by and saw the fight. He gasped and said, "MARINA STOP! YOU MIGHT KILL HIM!" Marina stopped and asked with hope, "Really? I might?" Manic took that chance to pull her off of him. "What did he do this time to make you mad?" Tails asked. "I forgot." Marina said flatly. Sonic got up slowly and said, "Did I win?" Marina glared at him. She would have lunged at him again, but she was enjoying being held by Manic. Manic let her go, and Marina punched Sonic one more time in the arm and walked away. They all had a blank stare. "You are such an Idiot!" Shadow said. He was behind them the entire time. "What am I supposed to do?" Sonic asked. Shadow smirked and said, "Take revenge…" Sonic liked this idea. He liked it a lot…
