It was a beautiful morning in Beach City, as they hasn't been any Gem Monster signal in weeks. But, a certain chubby boy with curly hair was sitting on a hill, looking sad? It was none other than Steven Universe, a member of the Crystal Gem who is half human and half Crystal Gem, from his mother side.
Steven seem upset "what should I do….I can't honestly keep this up" Steven said depress as he roll over, but when he rolled, he spot someone unusual? It was a young man around Lar age who seem to be in a bush, spying on the beach girls?
Steven went closer to the man and tip his shoulder "what are you doing" Steven said loud which alarm the young man and hide him as well "quite kid, they will spot us" the young man said while he return spying "who will spot us" Steven said out of curiously.
The young man, however grin with a perverted expression "those beautiful woman with nice oppai" the young man said as he grin?
Steven, however, didn't understand what he was saying as he doesn't know what oppai means? After a while, the young man took Steven out of the bush "so kid, I notice you seem upset, what's the matter" the young man said as he sound worried about Steven?
Steven sign "well might as well tell somebody…..I'm a member of the Crystal Gem, magical being that protect the world. My mother happen to be a member, but she's gone when she brought me into this world and now I have her gem" Steven said as he show his gem to the young man.
The young man was alarmed by Steven stomach gem "but, despite that, I have no magical powers that could really help the gems. The gems always talk about how amazing mom was and how kind and caring she was. But…..that make me feel I should live up to her standards and power, but…..I can't" Steven said as he started to cry!
The young man was surprise to see him cry, but show a caring smile "take it easy" the young man said as he rubbed Steven head which stop him crying "I will tell you something else" the young man said as he summoned a red gauntlet thing on his left arm!
Steven was amazed by the young man weapon "my name is Issei, believe it or not, I'm a wielder of this powerful item that could slay gods. But I'm the weakest of the past users" Issei said with no sign of being sad?
Steven was puzzled by Issei "why aren't you sad" "well, as I join a certain group, I was their weakest member, always needed help, filled with female that I couldn't help. But, I decided to get stronger and become a man who will protected the woman he loves and his friends" Issei said with determination!
Steven was surprise at the sudden change of character Issei just went through "beside, be the person you want to be, not be someone that others wanted. I bet your mother will be prove of you of whatever person you become, as long as you protect the one you loves. Also, you are a man, man should protect the one they care, right" Issei said with a warm smile.
Steven was touch by this and show his usual smile "you are right, thanks Issei, hope we meet again" Steven said as he rush back home with new found happiness! When Steven went back home, his three friends Pearl, Amethyst, and Garnet were there "oh Steven, you seem happy" Pearl said as Steven went in the house.
Steven nodded "yup, I meant this really nice guy on the hill" Steven said "good for you" Garnet said with her usual tone "by the way, what does oppai means" Steven said innocently while Pearl spit out her tea she was drinking, Amethyst dropping on the floor laughing, while Garnet remain still as they all know what it means!
