Youre A God I've gotta be honest
I think you know
We're covered in lies and thats OK
There's somewhere beyond this I know
But I hope I can find the words to say

Never again
No never again

The snow swirled to the ground and landed. It wasn't cold enough, and the snow melted, turning into slush beneath feet.
Tobias Fangor walked along the sidewalk, feet dragging and turing the slush grey. The sky was low, depressing, and grey, just like his mood. This was the hardest thing he had ever done.

'Cause you're a God
And I am not
And I just thought
That you would know
You're a god
And I am not
And I just thought
I'd let you go

Rachel Brown made her bed. It was neat. Too neat. She grabbed a pillow and put it in the middle of her bed. Now it looked like she was trying to be messy. She put the pillow back.
Rachel looked outside, and saw Tobias walking to her house. He stopped at her door and rang the doorbell.
She heard him come up the stairs, and knock on her door frame. "Can I come in?" He asked.
"Sure," Rachel replied. She smoothed a place on her bed and motioned for Tobias to sit down. He did.
"I think we need to talk," Tobias said.
"Me too."

But I've been unable
To put you down
I'm still learning things I ought to know by now
Its under the table so
I need something more to show somehow

Never again no
No never again

"Rachel..." Tobias began. "I think we're drifting apart."
Rachel sighed. Tobias hoped he wasn't hurting her too much. He still admired her. As a fellow animorph. But not as a person.
She was too reckless, and they were too different. She was always pressuring him to change back to human forever, and he couldn't do that. Not for her, not for anyone.
He had sensed them growing apart many months ago, but he hoped that she would change. She didn't. And now he knew she never would.

I've got to be honest
I think you know
We're covered in lies but that's OK.
Theres somewhere beyond this I know
But I hope I can find the words to say

Never again no
No never again

Rachel watched him leave, and a tear dripped down her cheek. But she knew the end was comming. She just wished it hadn't happened so soon.
Tobias has been so wonderful, so pure. And she had been like a stain on his shirt. Feathers, whatever.
Rachel morphed Hork-Baijr. With come difficulty, she managed to pull one of the elbow blades off. It hurt like hell, but not worse than the pain of Tobias.
She morphed back. She picked up the Hork-Baijr blade, stained with green alien blood. With it, she felt for the major vein on her neck, and cut the skin over it.
Rachel grew weaker and weaker, and she felt herself spiraling down...

Cause you're a god
And I am not
And I just thought
That you would know
You're a god
And I am not
And I just thought
I'd let you go
I'd let you go...
