Fem!Ed AU. The story line was changed dramatically after the death of Trisha Elric. No transmutation was performed and they never met Roy or Riza. It is now sometime later, Al is fifteen and Ed is sixteen. There is a major war being fought in the country and Al is drafted.
Prologue
The door opened and a trembling young teenager was ushered inside. "He's now yours," the clerk said and left.
"How old are you?" The man sitting at the main desk asked.
"F-f-fifteen, sir," the boy whispered.
"Don't be afraid," was the kind reply. "I'm not too scary. The Fuhrer must be desperate. Do you have any relatives?"
"Just my sister, sir. She's a year older than me."
"What's your name?"
"Alphonse Elric."
The man smiled and leaned forward. "Colonel Roy Mustang. I'm now your superior officer. Alphonse, I promise you that I'll make sure you go home to your sister when this is over."
