Chapter One

"Oh my God, Cammie. Look at this. It Ah-dorable isn't it?" Bex exclaimed.

I just agreed like I usually do when she is shopping for clothes. Then Bex said, "Got ya. So why are you not soo…" She was staring at something behind my back, mouthing the words, oh my God!

I turned around and came face to face with someone I haven't seen since last semester.

He looked at me and smiled "Hey, Gallagher Girl."

I was not prepared for seeing Zach, but as a spy, you learn these things.

"Hey… How did you know… who told you I was going to be here?" It was hard to say because I knew he knew I was here, but how did he know I was here here.

He did the usual thing by pointing at himself and saying, "Spy."

All I did was look at him because he does that thing when you blink he is gone and I don't want him to be.

"Soo it seems you two have a lot to talk about so I'm going over there." I had forgotten Bex was even there so I felt bad when she said that, but also glad.

"Where have you been and do you still go to school because your always somewhere, where I'm pretty sure, isn't even near your school." I finished.

Then I asked a question that's been on my mind ever since the fight in D.C. "Why did masked man know you?"

He looked at me and for the first time I saw something I never wanted to see. "I can't tell you."

"Why the heck not, because I'm sick of not knowing crap then getting hurt, because someone never says anything but Gallagher Girl, Spy, and my favorite I can't tell you."

I saw that, that hurt him hearing that it was his lack of information that got me hurt, but right all I want was the truth and he knew that.

So when Zach said, "I will tell you when we are back at Gallagher Academy." Now you probably know that Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women Is a school for girl spies. So I was a little confused when he said that.

So when he saw my face he goes, "Because I'm going to be watching out for you like Abby did for Macey."

I look at him and go, "But your still in school!"

That's when he looked away and said, "Not anymore, I finished early." I was shocked at that, so I ask "How?"

"I can't tell you anything about our school. You should know that." and I didn't say anything and then Bex comes back over.

"Hey, I'm back and when I looked at her, I knew he would be gone when I looked back at where Zach was standing. I was right.
