The Four Houses

Slytherin would close the door, unless you're helping get their job done

Hufflepuff would hold the door, for their hearts open up to anyone

Ravenclaw would take the door, if it helps to expand the mind

Gryffindor would chance the door, for adventure's what they want to find

Slytherin would watch the gap, to take note of when enemies fell

Hufflepuff would bridge the gap, because service is where they excel

Ravenclaw would outwit the gap, and appear on the other side

Gryffindor would explore the gap, to find what lurks in the dark divide

Slytherin would use the mirror, with determination that burns like a fire

Hufflepuff wouldn't see the mirror, for they have all that they do desire

Ravenclaw would ignore the mirror, for they've learnt of its false allure

Gryffindor would get lost before the mirror, their wants deep set and sure

Slytherin would dodge the curse, for they're always one step ahead

Hufflepuff would forgive the curse, because that's the way they've been breed

Ravenclaw would block the curse, in a manner sure and brisk

Gryffindor would take the curse, for their chivalry out weighs the risk

Slytherin would assess the wounded, to make sure that the fittest survive

Hufflepuff would heal the wounded, trying to keep everyone alive

Ravenclaw would contemplate the wounded, doling out wisdom for all

Gryffindor are the wounded, for they've been at the thick of the brawl

Slytherin would break the shield, if it stopped them achieving their ends

Hufflepuff would cast the shield, to insure the protection of friends

Ravenclaw would forget the shield, they'd stare a challenge right in the eye

Gryffindor would defy the shield, rather than let others die

The truth is that no house needs the shield

Because they answered the call

A scarred, bespectacled, black haired boy

Gave his life for you all
