Revenge
The cold night air ruffled my jet black hair and my leather jacket. I stood with my sword in my hand, right next to my now dead boyfriend. I would grieve later, if I was alive. For now I had to focus on avenging his death. I stared back at the demon before me, his soulless white eyes glowing brightly in the darkness, and laughed. Notch knew I wouldn't live, not against the legendary Herobrine. I stood in a battle stance, determined to at least deal damage to the monster that killed my boyfriend. I glanced down at him, his black hair ruffled in the wind, his dark brown eyes frozen wide in shock that matched the look on his face. I felt a solitary tear escape the corner of my own bright blue eyes, as I stared down the demon before me. He slowly stepped forward, obsidian sword held loosely in his relaxed hand. His laid back appearance was deceiving, as Ant's blood now dropped from the blade he held. Adrenaline coursed through my body, pushing grief, anger, and fear from my mind, and I was solely focused on the sword in my hand and the demon before me, recalling the fight training in Sky Army. The being continued to walk forward at a crawl, taunting me. Finally, he stopped, and we were left staring at each other over a gap of about 10 feet. "Look at me, look at you. Take my revenge is what I'm gonna do." I told him steadily, gripping my sword. I lunged for him, aiming at his neck. He swiftly brought his sword up, and the impact of Obsidian against Diamond jarred my entire body. I went for him again, aiming low at his stomach this time. He didn't block fast enough, but instead of plunging I to his stomach, my sword glanced off of him, knocked off course by his late block and barely scratching him. I let my anger and grief break through and fuel my movements, moving swiftly and striking hard. He carelessly aimed a strike at my right arm, and blood immediately spurted from the deep cut. "I'm a warrior baby, what else is new?" I gasped out, swinging for his neck again. He aimed for my heart with his sword, and once again our swords met, clashing and throwing sparks everywhere. I gritted my teeth and pushed my sword harder into His obsidian one, straining my arms to the limits of their strength. "And my blade's gonna tear through you!" I gritted out, then pulled my sword back. I spun around in a full circle, swinging my sword with all of my strength when I was facing those white eyes again, knowing the ex hero would be overbalanced. My diamond sword glanced off of his chest, and blood dripped from the cut. He bared his teeth in anger and pain, then shoved me back with the flat of his sword. Then I fell flat on my back, the force making it impossible to keep my footing. Then he was standing over me, holding that cursed blade over my neck. The last thing I saw was those eyes, glowing bright with anger and power. The last thing I thought was how Ant died, and I never got my revenge. Then the hero swung his blade down, and everything went black.
