Chapter one –Scorpius Malfoy
There was not a single place left in the entire train except for that one compartment. Rose and Albus had no choice but to sit in it. The pale blonde boy about whom their parents were talking about on the platform made space for them quite politely. He seemed to be set on impressing them specially Rose, something that was irking Albus more and more by the minute.
"Hi, I am Scorpius Malfoy",he said quite pleasantly.
Albus, a good soul, was determined to be courteous despite of the instant dislike he felt for this boy.
"Hello, I am Albus Potter and she is my cousin Rose Weasly" he replied. Rose gave Scorpius a small smile; she didn't like the way he was looking at her.
"It is a pleasure to meet you both." ,he said trying to be charming. Both Rose and Al smiled slightly but didn't say anything .
Time trickled away and predictably after 15 minutes James banged in the compartment, "Ickle Firsties, what are you doing ,eh?" he said by the way of greeting .But his manner changed completely as he saw Scorpius, for he felt the same dislike his brother had felt .Scorpius on the other hand smiled warmly at him and said ,"You must be Albus' brother . Please do take a seat". James was rather taken aback but he did sit down. Again no one talked. Rose took out a book and began reading .Scorpius was trying unsuccessfully not to stare at her and failing completely, Albus was trying unsuccessfully not to feel outraged at this. Scorpius tried to start conversation, and said to James," you look exceptionally like your mother", trying to be complimentary.
"Me, like my mother!"
