There was once a girl.
(Oh, her? That's Lou Ellen. Daughter of Hecate.)
And that's all she'll really be known as. Lou Ellen, daughter of Hecate.
-and then she becomes counselor, and the title is lou ellen, counselor of the hecate cabin-
But she knows she doesn't deserve the title because her half-brother is the strong one, her lovely mother's most powerful child of this generation, and she's nothing but a stand-in for the brave boy that tried to stand up to the gods for their mother.
She never knew her brother, never really met him, but she supports him fully, so whole-heartedly until she thinks her nerves are screaming at her.
-she doesn't say anything, though, because she's not that brave-
...
There was once a boy.
(That's the Stoll twins. Keep your hand on your wallet at all times around them.)
They're not twins. He's younger. Travis is more well-known. More popular. More loved.
Connor isn't. He's just someone in the background despite them being joined at the hip. He'll never quite be in the spotlight, and that's the truth.
-they're dual counselors, but why does that happen? travis is still older, and connor is still younger.-
And he's still the other counselor, because he's not going to argue when his /more well-known, more popular, more loved brother/ begs him with silent eyes, and he still has the mischief-filled smile of a child of his father, because he's an excellent liar. He gets it from his dad.
-so he can't blame people for not believing him, because he is a liar, there's no doubt about it.-
...
"Hey."
"Hey."
"No one's going to notice you, you know."
"I know."
...
They might not be as alone as they thought.
