One day in Stars Hollow Lorelai and Chandler are relaxing on the couch together with her leaning against his chest watching tv when they hear a car door close outside.
''whose that?'' he asks her
''my daughter must be home.'' she says and gets up and looks out the window ''yup'' she says and sit's back down and relaxes against him again.
Rory comes up the front step's and comes into the house.
'Hi I'm home.'' she says
''Hi hunnie um hunnie this is Chandler...Chandler this is my daughter Rory.'' Lorelai tell's him
''Hi it's nice to meet you.'' he says and put's out his hand .
Rory shake's his hand.
''yea it's nice to meet you too.'' she says
''so hunnie what are you doing home?'' Lorelai asks her
''oh we have Friday night dinner tonight do we not?'' Rory asks her
''yea we do.'' Lorelai tell's her
''ok then um mom can I maybe talk to you in my room for aminute?'' Rory asks her
''yea sure hun I'll be right back sweetie.'' she tell's Chandler and kisses him
''okay.'' he says
Lorelai get's up and follow's Rory to her room.
Rory closes the door.
''so what's up hun?'' Lorelai asks her
''do Grandma and Grandpa know about him or have ever met him or know that he will be joining us for Friday night dinner tonight?'' Rory asks her
''no but they are going to meet him tonight and everything will be fine.'' Lorelai tell's her
''okay.'' Rory says
''oh okay so is that it or can I go back out there with him?'' Lorelai asks her
''oh go ahead.'' Rory says
''thank's Hun.'' Lorelai says and leaves her room and goes back out on the couch with Chandler.
''hey sweetie everything ok?'' he asks Lorelai
''oh yea babe everything's fine.'' she tell's him
''okay good.'' he says and continue's watching tv with her.
A little while later.
''okay babe I'm going to go and take a shower and change for friday night dinner.'' she tell's him
''okay babe I'll be here.'' he tell's her
''okay babe.'' she says and kisses him and goes upstair's.
