For Aruani Week. Day 1: Mystery
—.—
He just covered for Eren being an idiot. Again. He was his best friend, but he could be so stupid sometimes.
He just went off at a soldier who was talking about the refugees from Wall Maria. Eren accused him on how he didn't know how the titans ate people. He claimed he didn't know the horrors. He was absolutely right, but he shouldn't have said it.
Armin glanced over at the food station. There were a few people lined up to get their bread. Nothing special. Armin was about to turn back to Eren when something caught his eye–or should he say someone. She was a small girl around his age with bright, blonde hair with bangs that covered an eye and crystal blue eyes. The girl wore a white, slightly oversized hoodie and jeans. She might have had a blank expression, but her eyes held a deep sadness.
The blonde girl took three loafs of bread and turned into his direction. Her gaze landed on him. Armin held his breath, but she just turned away and walked to the back of the courtyard and handed two taller boys.
"Armin?" Mikasa shook his shoulder. "What's wrong?"
He snapped his head towards his friend. "Huh? Oh...I'm fine!"
She gave him a look then turn towards Eren and started to scold him again. Meanwhile, Armin looked towards the girl again.
Who was she?
