I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING TWILIGHT RELATED. IT ALL BELONGS TO STEPHENIE MEYER.
book lover forever 96
I finally had enough moping around. For years I had known that vampires existed thanks to the Volturi brothers that had put me up for adoption when I was a baby as I looked too human for them to have around. They kept an eye on me until I turned eighteen.
Before I get into further detail, I should introduce myself. My name is Isabella Marie Swan, but everyone calls me Bella. I am eighteen years old and a half vampire thanks to an experiment. I was adopted by Charlie and Renee Swan when I was a few days old. Carlisle is my biological father and I have no idea who my mother is. Aro knows what I am but stays far away from me and my loved ones because I almost fried his ass once. I also have a super power.
My power is that I am a mental shield. Now, you might be wondering what that means. Any mental attack won't work on me or others under it. A plus is that I can hear the thoughts of anyone under the shield. You might be wondering about the wolves at La Push, but they mean no harm.
The wolves found out what I am by chance. I was walking when they came to attack me as they smelt a vampire in the area. I explained what I was and they agreed to make a treaty similar to the Cullen's with the exception of me being allowed to cross with an advanced notice. Since then, I have helped protect the humans in Forks and La Push.
On a whim,I decided to change up my look. Thanks to Alice's advice, I actually had a fashion sense so I grabbed my purse and headed out to my truck. Due to my mental shield, I can predict the stock market, making me gain a fortune. I secretly put money in my parents retirement fund for when I have to leave.
Normally it took about four hours to get to Seattle but with my truck it took close to five. I first went to the car dealer to get rid of this rust bucket. I finally got a Ferrari FXX in bright blue. Then I headed to the mall. Six hours later I had a brand new wardrobe.
The rest of the week I received complements from the entire student body. But the following week is what changed me the most. They have returned. And I'm going to find out why.
