Remember when I dove into the crowd
And I got a bloody knee under my skin, a mark from wiping out
It brings back the memories
Every bone's been broken
And my heart is still wide open
Once upon a time, in a time of past, there was a little girl. She was called Mai Kujaku. She was thirteen years old and a orphan. She lived in a small castle all alone. Her servants only tend to her for a short amount of time in a day. The young girl wish she had a friend. Oh... wouldn't it be nice if she had a friend?
I can't stop
Don't care if I lose
Baby you are the weapon I choose
These wounds are self inflicted
I'm going down *in flames* for you
Baby you are the weapon I choose
These wounds are self inflicted
One more thing I'm addicted too
One day on a rainy day, Mai's youngest servant Katsuya Jonouchi saw her sulking one day. He liked the pretty young girl, so he asked her what was wrong. She just told him that she wasn't happy and that she wished she had a friend. Taken back from this, the young nine year old boy smiled and started to tell her a story.
With each scar there's a map that tells a story what a souvenir of Young love's like jumping out
An airplane riding a tidal wave on an ocean of emotion
My heart rips me wide open
"The story is called the bird of happiness." Jounouchi said and began the story. "Once, a girl found a box. The Bird of Happiness was inside. The bird would take her to Forever Land, or so she hoped. Each box was smaller than the last. In a cramped, dark space, she finally found her little bird. But it was far too little, and far too late. The bird was long dead. It had met a bloody fate."
I can't stop
Don't care if I lose
Baby you are the weapon I choose
These wounds are self inflicted
I'm going down *in flames* for you
Baby you are the weapon I choose
These wounds are self inflicted
One more thing I'm addicted too
Appauled by the story, Mai questioned why he would tell her such a story. Jonouchi just smiled and answered, "Because you rely on people to make you happy you brat." The girl was taken back of his answer. When the young servant went home that night, Mai began to think deeply anout what he said.
And I cover up these scars
(We'll make it we'll make it but we break it)
And I can't stop seeing stars
(lets hope not die)
Whenever you're around
Around
The next day Jonouchi came back and his first order was to take Mai to the village and intoduce her to his friends. He gladly did as he was told. When he took her to the village Mai met and made wonderful friends. Hiroto Honda, Anzu Mazaki, Yugi Mutou, Ryou Bakura, and Jonouchi's sister Shizuka. Everyday Jonouchi took her to the village to play. Mai grew very fond of him, but she never noticed that he seemed more weary and weary by each passing day.
I can't stop
Don't care if I lose
Baby you are the weapon I choose
These wounds are self inflicted
I'm going down in flames for you
oohhh you are the weapon I choose
These wounds are self inflicted
One more thing I'm addicted to
One beautiful morning Mai woke up, expecting to be greeted by her servant Jonouchi, but instead she was greeted by his sad sister. Jonouchi died the night she slept. He was very sick and needed rest, but instead he helped Mai make friends. In rage and saddness she made a fit. "Why!? WHY!? Why didn't he go and rest!? Why!?" Mai sobbed. Shizuka's eyes got glassy as she answered, "I asked him that as well... He-He just told me that it was his job... because he was the bird of happiness." Mai's eyes widend. The bird of happiness?
I can't stop no I can't stop
no I can't stop
Ohh I'm going out in flames
Ohh I'm going down in flames
Ohhhh
Baby you are the weapon I choose
Baby you are the weapon I choose...
