I limped through the knee-high grass, pulling my purple-dyed hair into a ponytail. Me and my Spearow had a long, tiring day. She had a wounded wing, and I had a sprained ankle. We had spent the day defeating the Weedles of the tall grass and other pokémon belonging to an array of trainers. I looked around for any other Pokémon. I walked down the dirt path back to my house. The people of the town were quite friendly, of course, when they arent using their small, furry animals to beat the crap out of my small, furry animals.

I was nearing my house as I saw a box on my doorstep. I was extremely confused, and my face showed it. I hadnt ordered anything, nor do I ever get much mail, let alone a huge box. I s.w something written on it. I began jogging.

Please keep it. Do what you want with it. I have no need for it.

I looked inside. Inside, sat a wounded Pichu. It slowly looked up at me. I was utterly shocked, no pun intended. I scooped it up in my hands. It attempted to use static. It instead hurt itself more. I checked it over and found it was male. It began calming down as I carried it inside. I wrapped it in a small, fairly clean washcloth. I carried it into my room. It began falling asleep.

I put it on my bed. I was so confused. While most Pichu I come across arent very useful, their evolutions are. Why did they give him to me? Who are they? Just then, I had a great idea. I began walking back to the front door. I opened the door, picked up the box, and walked back to my room. I sat on the bed next to my Pichu. I looked over the box for a return adress. Something that may give hints to the mystery person. I found a white sticker, the kind that you get on boxes in the mail to identify the person it is for. Whatever those are called. Damn. It was blocked out with black marker.

I put it in the corner of my room, next to my hamper. I put a small pillow at the bottom that I found in my closet. I went to my laundry room. I ripped an old blanket from the huge pile of clothes on the ground. I covered the box in the pink floral blanket. I picked up the Pichu and laid him in the box. I decided I had to name it. I thought for a minute. I finally came up with Stevie. It was a pretty crappy name, but it would have to do.
