Prologue
First Lieutenant Cody Strom/

Day 213 / Year One / Age of Exile
1400 hours GT (Galactic Time)
Flung into the battle field, first lieutenant Cody Strom, stood ready for battle. One of the droid somehow managed to penetrate the Gunship's plating and hit a clone trooper in the arm. He simply stared at the wound and shook his head to show he's fine. The door slid open and all hell broke loose. Two clones got shot by droid snipers and died in the first minute shooting from the side of a federation ship. Cody simply shook his head in disgust knowing two brave soldiers just died.
First Lieutenant Cody informed his platoon that the mission on Geonesis is going from bad to worse. A special ops team ''comandos'' has made its way inside a federation ship and are rigging the explosives. However, the droids are dropping reinforcements to prevent the detonation of their ship. Our new objective is to prevent additional reinforcements their remaining ships.
Blaster fire flew through the air as two Geonosion fighter flew across the skies. Cody had to hurry closer to the federation ships before the droids manage to secure them. His platoon, divided into three squads (one of which Cody is leading) shot down four droids as they moved closer and twenty more a few moments later. The distinct roars of two gunships' engines are heard overhead as a Spider Walker lumbers into sight and proceeds to down one of them.
As the other rises quickly out of range, it turns towards Cody's squad and decimates it with a single laser shot. The force of the following explosion sent two men into a nearby group of droids. The Lieutenant only had time to see a Geonosion fighter charge up it's before it exploded into flames as missiles from a gunship painted its hull. The Republic gunship then proceeds' to distract the Spider Walker as Cody manages to run to a destroyed ship. As he goes to pick up the radio, an artillery shell not five feet away sends him flying into the air. He tastes blood in his mouth and takes a final look at the battle raging around him before falling into shock.
