Bella POV:
I watched as my best friend lunge himself at the love of my life. "Jacob no!" I ran in between them and threw my arm at him and heard him wince. I pushed Edward so hard that he fell metres on his back. I leaned down to Jacob and I was about to touch his face. "Jacob, I'm-" at that moment I felt jaws at either side of my thighs. "Nooo! Stop!" The fur was short and light brown. Was it seth? "Seth no! It's still me. Bella!" I felt his jaws dig in so deep that I can feel my bones breaking apart. Soon the fantasy of spending my life with Edward would be over. I pushed apart his jaw and ran out of his grasp. Finally, I was free. I grabbed my arms around him and squeezed. I heard a yelp, but I didn't let go until he fell down. There were three more wolves. "I don't want to hurt anyone. But I will. Take Jacob and Seth and leave." They kept motioning me between them. I heard Edward scream my name. "Bella, Bella!" As I turned I saw a black haired large wolf biting into Edwards neck. "Edward! No! Stop!"
All national thinking left my mind as I ran straight for the wolf. When I got to him and Edward I could see the cracking in his neck. One more second and Edward would be gone. I jumped onto the back of the wolf and squeezed his ribs. He let Edward go, but I didn't stop. When he fell down I wrapped my arms around his neck and heard a snap. The other three unharmed wolves began to howl. I growled back. "Leave, before I kill you all." Of course they wouldn't listen. Of course they wouldn't leave. They were a pack, no one is left behind! No one. They all began to walk around me. Circling their prey. "You attacked us first. Leave. Take Jacob and Seth to safety." Could I hurt three more wolves? The others were out of self defence. I stood back watching each of them move in. "Bella." I turned to Edward. "Run!" I shook my head. "They'll follow us. They won't let us go. They'll tell the others. We'll be killed. All of us!" The anger inside of me was palpable. "Bella, you wont feel it now, but you'll regret this Bella." I kept watching the wolves circle me. "No, I have no choice now. They won't let me leave.
"Bella, we must leave." I turned to see Carlisle behind Edward. "Does it look like I have a choice?" I turned to face him. "What are you doing here Carlisle?" One of the wolves, a longer thinner one with light brown hair narrowed in one me. I showed my teeth and hissed. "Alice was panicked. She couldn't see your future. Edward found me and brought me back here. Bella, please listen to me." As the light brown haired wolf walked closer I opened my arms ready for the attack, when a terrifying cry stopped everything.
