The Lion and the Snake
The Loyal lion is a great leader
And he wants everyone to get along
To know that they belong
One day he met a snake named Peter
While dozing under the great big cedar
Peter ignored him with a song
All the way until dawn
Lion was getting to his last meter
When Peter the snake slithered forward
Lion watched amazed
"We can be friends, only if I have your word"
The king of beasts, interests were raised
They chatted on their way to the orchard
All throughout the day Lion was dazed
