Author's Note: This is just a short story (another one of those late night ideas I seem to get). I don't know why I wrote it, I usually like humor stories better. But it wouldn't let me leave it alone till I wrote it, so I did. This is a sad story, so if you don't like those kind, this isn't your story. It's not that good either. Anyway, none of this characters belonged to me, so please don't sue. All you would get is my math homework to do, and you really don't want that. R and R please!
"Avada Kedavra!"
Ron sat up quickly, drenched in cold sweat. Always the same nightmare. He pushed back the bedcovers and walked over to the window of the house he had bought. The one that he and Hermione had planned on living in. But she was gone.
~ It happened a month ago, when Hermione and him had went shopping. They had separated briefly, him to look at the Quidditch supplies, her to the bookstore. Ron was just returning when he heard screams coming from the vicinity of the bookstore. Rushing over to see what was happening, the last person he expected to find was standing there.
Voldemort, looking just as evil as he had imagined him, was looking even more evil with his wand out and ready to use. On Hermione.
"No!" Ron shouted, pushing his way past terrified people to reach his beloved. But he was too late.
Hermione, sensing the inevitable, turned and yelled to Ron, "I love you!"
At the exact same moment, Voldemort shouted, "Avada Kedavra!" There was a bright flash of green light. Voldemort, laughing coldly, Apparated.
Ron ran to where Hermione laid crumpled on the ground. Dropping to his knees, he gathered her limp body close to his and began to cry. ~
Ron snapped back to the present to find tears running down his face. He wiped them away silently. He had already cried enough for the life he and Hermione would never have. But he would always have the dreams they shared, and the love that would last forever.

This was really short, I know. I'm thinking about making it longer when my homework lets up, but it all depends on if people like it or not.
