Omg!
So, I have a very important announcement to the fellow readers of this fic...
I'm rebooting it, yep, that's what's gonna happen. I wasn't satisfied with how the fic was going, I kinda got into my other fics, and sorta spaced from this one, then I realized something, I took the time to re-read it and realized, how much I didn't like it, and how I left quite a few loose ends. soooo, I'll be re-writing it now! the plot's pretty much the same, well, the idea. the 'Love triangle' thing, and the rivalry between Chikane and Mio will still be around, I'll develop the characters more (Way More XD) and I'll totally make the Chapters longer from now on (TRY TO) XD

Chapter: Another Club!?
"OOWWWW!"
The familiar shriek of pain from a certain Drummer came about and echoed throughout the hallways of an all girls high school.
"What was that for!"
followed by bickering.
"Idiot, did you think to talk about this with us!?"
In a clubroom filled with a total of 6 girls, and One teacher.
"Yeah, Ricchan, you should have consulted with us first", a certain blonde spoke softly, her arms crossed over her busty chest.
"I- Uh...well, sorry!", the Drummer groaned as she rubbed the top of her head.
"Idiot, don't you ever think! Geez, did it cross your mind that it might get in the way of your 'First Club', 'Club President'?", the raven haired bassist frowned heavily at the Drummer.
The drummer looked at her partner in crime, but found the girl to be...distracted by a certain Kohai.
the drummer sighed, "Sorry, geez, I didn't know, I mean, they have meetings not so often, like...we meet everyday after school right? well, how's about we meet three days a week from now on, track meets are only two days a week after school, so it's actually not so bad."
"Hmm, if you can handle it Ritsu, cause from what I've heard, they train pretty tough", the teacher chimed in.
"Hmmm", a certain glasses wearing girl hummed in thought.
"What is it, Nodoka-chan?", the air head asked.
"Oh, just thinking, Yui. I mean, Sawako's right, but the tough training and weekend meets is only for the students who can make the City's requirements, other than that, it's basic for the regular track students.", Nodoka explained.
"Weekend?!", all the girls gasped slightly
Nodoka nodded, "Yeah, that's why they only meet twice in a school week, cause they also meet for the weekend"
'Now's my chance!', Amber eyes drifted to the Ravenette. "So, Mio?"
Mio rolled her eyes, "Why do you even want to do it?"
all the girls looked at each other.
it really baffled them, why did Ritsu, the self proclaimed club president and leader of their band, want to start doing track?
Ritsu shrugged, "Well, Um...I don't, I guess I have to much energy and not enough of it is getting out", Rubbing the back of her head.
Nodoka's eyebrow cocked up, 'You sure that's the only reason?', she spoke mentally
oh how Nodoka was definitely on to something.
Mio sighed out and turned to Mugi and the other two bandmates.
"We'll try this out then, but if it starts interfering with our band, than please, Drop out of Track", Mugi said.
Ritsu nodded, "Hai, Hai, It won't"
"Yay, so can we have cake now?", Yui clapped her hands together in anticipation.
A certain Kohai rolled her eyes over her childish Senpai's actions.
"Sure we can", The gentle blonde smiled and turned towards the table where the boxed cake was and tea pot. "I'll start serving!"
"I'm definitely sticking around now", the quirky sensei followed the blonde.
"Ah, hai, I'll be going then, Yamanaka-sensei". Nodoka bowed.
"Aww, stay, Nodoka-chan", Yui pouted.
"Yeah, stay", Mio chimed in
Nodoka nodded, "I have to go, sorry girls, maybe next time."
Ritsu pouted, "so you only came here to rat me out!"
The student body president chuckled, "Sorry, but I had to inform your club about you part taking in another set of club activities, they were bound to find out anyways, I mean, I did see your try-outs."
Ritsu stepped back and sighed out.
"Meanie"
'You might have met City', Nodoka thought and shrugged, "Well, bye girls"
"Bye!", all the girls including the teacher all waved goodbye.
Mio glared at Ritsu.
"What?", Ritsu gulped.
"I still can't believe you didn't tell us", Mio said as she sat down in her seat.
"I feel the betrayal myself, Ritsu", the teacher said as she swallowed her cake.
"I agree with Sawa-chan, Ricchan", Yui said.
the amber eyed teen shrugged, "Sorry, I was just curious about that club is all, and I like running, so I thought, why not?"
Mugi looked at Ritsu, "Still isn't a valid excuse, Ricchan"
Ritsu sighed out and sat on the floor, "Aww, well"
"Bye, Guys!", three girls were leaving the club room.
"Bye, Muggs, Yui and Azusa", Ritsu waved as she remained seated in her chair.
Mio remained quiet.
as soon as the clubroom door shut, the bickering began.
"Idiot", Mio said quietly.
Ritsu turned to face her, "Mio, I'm sorry, geez, you act like it'll come In between us all"
"You don't know"
Ritsu's face softened, "If it does, I'll drop it, Mio"
Mio's cheeks reddened slightly because of the Tainaka's gaze.
"Promise?"
The smooth Drummer Smiled, "I Promise, Mio-"
"A-Ano? Hello?", a feminine voice came from the clubroom door as it slid open, revealing a very pretty girl.
Ritsu turned back, Mio's eyes quickly darted towards the girl by the door.
The Drummer quickly stood up from her seat, "K-Kazumi-san"
The girl smiled towards the Tawny haired teen, one that made the observing Akiyama, uncomfortable.
"Ah, Tainaka-san, Um, Manabe-senpai told me where you'd be and all, I um...about the track meet, they moved it up to tomorrow, and I was told to tell you", the girl wore sweat pants, her uniform shirt was still on her upperbody however, revealing her grade, a first year.
Mio noticed the red ribbon.
Ritsu scratched her cheek, "Ah, that's cool, I'll show"
the girl nodded, her cheeks slightly a pink color.
"Um, and they'll share the results tomorrow as well, I'm sure you did very well, I mean, It surprised us all", the girl giggled lightly.
Ritsu blushed, and rubbed the back of her neck, she felt herself getting uncomfortably hot, "Um, I guess"
Mio gripped the sides of her chair unconsciously the more she observed, she felt this strange feeling in her chest.
'who's she?'
Mio stood up
Ritsu hummed and turned around, only to see Mio getting her stuff, ready to go.
"Ah, Mio, Wait up!", Ritsu got her things.
Mio however, ignored the drummer and walked straight past the Kazumi girl.
The Kohai hummed and stepped aside before Mio would have Bumped into her.
"Ah, See ya' tomorrow, Kazumi-san", Ritsu rushed past the Kohai.
"H-Hai, Senpai!"
"Idiot, Idiot, Idiot-"
"Mio, geez, slow down!"
"Leave me alone!", Mio spoke slightly loud, she walked faster and faster.
"Mio, what'd I do!?", The drummer asked, she had no clue in hell, what she did to agitate the ravenette.
Mio bit her bottom lip...wait a minute...what did Ritsu do?
Mio stopped, she stopped right In front of the stairs, she turned around to face the drummer.
Ritsu stopped and stood still.
"Um, Mio? c'mon, is it still about me joining the track team?"
'Say yes', "Yeah", Mio looked away
the amber eyed teen sighed out, "Mio, I wouldn't replace you girls, you should know me better than that"
Mio still averted eye contact.
"Mio, let's go home, together"
Mio blushed slightly, her cheeks getting a slight reddish color, she looked at Ritsu.
"What's wrong, Mio, ah, your face's kinda red, you okay?", without thinking, Ritsu stepped closer to the bassist and took the ravenette's face into her hands, she brought their foreheads together, but it quickly backfired when Mio yelped and then, stepped back.
"MIO!", Ritsu's eyes went wide.
Mio's breath caught in her throat when she realized that she felt nothing under her right foot when she put her weight back, it was just air. the bassist's bag slipped from her grasp. eyes wide in horror.
'Oh no, oh no, oh no!', Mio closed her eyes, the last thing she thought she'd see was the fear fill face her childhood friend wore, but she was wrong.
with out thinking twice, Ritsu leaped forwards, grabbing Mio's body and turned them over before they were to hit the floor at the bottom.
Mio gasped, when she felt arms encircle her, she thought for a moment that she'd feel pain wash over her own body, but she was wrong...she fell on something, well, someone.
"Ouuuf!", the wind was knocked out of Ritsu.
Mio opened her eyes, and sat up, she straddled the drummer, both girls in a compromising position, she blushed furiously, but she saw Ritsu's eyes closed, her lips twitching slightly.
With out thinking Mio leaned forwards, but as she did this, gravity had came full circle, Mio's bag which had slipped from her grasp, had now but fallen into her head, well, more like, pushed her head into the drummer, causing the bassist...to lock lips with the other.
with this, the drummer came to, she hummed, but it was muffled due to the bassist's lips smashed against hers.
papers littered the area around them, Mio's cheeks heat up, Ritsu was also in the same position...but something was oddly different...they should have separated their lips right?
but Mio whom was on top, didn't move at all, she was still.
Ritsu's eyes looked into Mio's, it was strange...
'W-Why isn't she...breaking it!?'
the drummer took it upon herself to 'break' the lip lock they were in, she closed her eyes and brought her hands up, resting them on Mio's sides, she slightly sat up a bit slowly, then began to pull away, from the bassist.
the sound of their lips coming off of each others rang in their ears.
Ritsu breathed out, softly.
Mio however, looked down, avoiding the Tainaka's curious gaze.
Ritsu could tell the bassist was embarrassed by how her ears grew red.
"Mio...You okay? You didn't get hurt right?", Ritsu asked as she wrapped her arms around the girl whom was still sitting in her lap.
Mio merely nodded her head, silence...
"Good", Ritsu sighed out.
Mio shivered slightly.
"Mio?"
"W-what?"
"You kissed me"
Mio's head shot up, and quickly, she punched Ritsu's head.
"OWWW!"
Thursday
"Ouch, That's one nasty bruise Ritsu-san"
Ritsu winced slightly when she pulled her shirt over her head, stuffing her shirt into her locker, she shrugged.
"What happened?", another voice joined.
Ritsu grabbed another shirt and put it on, she shut her locker and sighed, "Mio almost fell down the stairs...I stopped her from getting hurt, but..."
"...It ended up costing you", a girl chimed in as she sat a duffle bag down by Ritsu.
"Pretty much"
"You sure bother a lot with that, Akiyama girl", A brown haired teen said curiously.
"Hmmm, Ayame's right, you do a lot for her", another girl said.
Ritsu frowned lightly, "Um, well, we're childhood friends, I mean, I like protecting her ya' know."
"Hmmm"
"Himeko-san, the softball game's gonna start in a few, get dressed!", a student dressed in the school's softball uniform came into the locker room.
"Hmm, well, bye girls."
"bye, senpai!", both First years waved to their senpai.
"Bye, Tachibana-san", Ritsu waved.
now she was left with her two kohais.
"so, senpai, what's up with you and Akiyama?"
"Yeah, senpai"
"Huh?", Ritsu looked at her kohais, she nodded, "We're childhood friends", Ritsu said, not thinking about how the two girls were staring at her, as if they wanted to hear something else.
"Oh?"
"Bummer"
both kohais crossed their arms over their chests.
"Why", Ritsu asked.
"Well, we just..."
"heard quite a few rumors about you two".
Ritsu crossed her arms over her chest, "Like what?"
both kohais looked at each other.
"Oh you know...the typical..."
the drummer cocked an eyebrow up, "Typical?"
"Like...about you and her being an item"
at this, Ritsu's arms dropped from her chest, she quickly got defensive, "N-No way! what! we're just friends, best friends!"
"Oh?"
Ritsu gritted her teeth, 'why am even bothering with this?!', "I'm going, I got to get in some exercise", with this, the obviously bothered Drummer walked by the two kohais.
no out of sight, both smirked.
"So she's the one, Chikane-chan's after?".
Ayame nodded, "Sadly, I mean, It's pretty obvious, Tainaka's got it hard for the Akiyama."
"Ugh!", Mio couldn't help but blush each time she saw a glimpse of the drummer, yesterday's events, kept playing in her mind, over and over again.
she just couldn't get it out of her head, the kiss...she touched her lips many times after that, never in her life, had she felt something like that, something so soft, and warm...the way her heart skipped many beats, the way her breath got caught in her chest.
'No! stop thinking about it!'
the bassist was really distracted today, she was unable to focus on her school work properly, she kept on thinking about the drummer, she was even sleepy due to the fact that she had been thinking about it over night.
'Why doesn't it leave my mind?'
Mio sighed out as she wondered the hallways.
"Mio-chan?", a familiar gentle voice called out to the bassist.
Mio turned around and saw a familiar pianist, she smiled lightly.
"Hey Mugi", stopping in her tracks to allow the blonde to catch up with her.
"hey, did you just come from seeing Ricchan's practice?, she was amazing! and she made City!", Mugi said energetically.
Mio hummed, "What? she did? and I didn't see her"
Mugi smiled, "She's pretty fast on her feet, I never realized"
Mio blushed for some reason, the thought of the drummer breaking her fall came to mind, "Y-Yeah"
the blonde noticed the Ravenette's strange demeanor and hummed, "Everything okay, Mio-chan?"
Mio turned to Mugi and nodded, "Yeah, just tired is all"
"Hmm, well, okay...I mean if anything's bothering you, I'm here if you need to chat"
"T-Thanks, Mugi", Mio smiled at the blonde.
Mugi smiled, "You sure you don't want to see, Ricchan? we can all walk together, well, Yui already left with Azusa-chan"
Mio blushed at the mention of the drummer, she slightly fidgeted, "Um, can we...not?"
Mugi hummed in curiosity, "U-Um, okay. let's go then"
"Y-Yeah"
both teens walked home together without the drummer, this only served to cause further questions for the blonde and ravenette.
'Why do I feel weird?'
'Something's going on between Mio and Ricchan...i'll get to the bottom of this'
Ritsu yawned heavily, the sun was dipping, she was covered in sweat, she stretched.
'that...was exhausting'
the drummer...was made an official member of the track team, she made city requirements, which went to say, Ritsu was now to train for next months competitions.
'I gave it my all during try-outs, who'd have thought I made their time'
The drummer remembered that she had skipped out on the girls to do the try outs, and she nailed it, but maybe she could have tried a bit less, the thought of what Sawako and Nodoka had said before had came into her thoughts...
"Oh man"
"Nice job, senpai!", a cheery shy voice came from behind Ritsu.
Ritsu sluggishly turned around, "Ah, Kazumi-san"
The teen smiled sweetly and reached out, a big shake bottle in her hand, she was offering it to her senior.
Ritsu blushed, "Uh, what-what is it?"
"take it silly, it's good, drink it, you'll need lots of protein and a good diet to be able to keep your record."
Ritsu hummed and took the bottle, she opened the top of it and glanced at the kohai.
"Senpai, just drink it"
"T-Thanks", with that, Ritsu took a big gulp of the icy shake, she hummed in joy at how refreshing it was, it tasted amazing.
"Is it good?", The Kazumi girl asked with a smile.
"Good? shoot, it's delicious!", Ritsu gulped the rest down and grinned brightly, "Oh wow, thanks a lot, I needed that!"
"Glad you liked it"
"Oh man, Thanks a bunch Kazumi-san, how can I repay you?", Ritsu said as she picked up her duffle bag and also picked up her kind junior's bag.
the junior tilted her head to the side, she narrowed her emerald eyes at her senpai and gave one last smile.
"Call me Chikane, please Senpai"

I've changed a few things, obviously, and...there will be way more drama in this version then the previous one.
