Final thoughts
Disclaimer: I don't own Sweeney Todd.
My Lucy...my beautiful Lucy. I had taken her life from her. She didn't deserve to die, but Nellie Lovett did. I killed them, along with many other people. I deserved to die...not any of them. I was a murderer of innocent people...not meaning Judge Turpin and Beadle Bamford. Those two deserved it more than anyone else in the world.
But revenge consumed me until I lost everything. I was just a vengeful man named Sweeney Todd...not Benjmin Barker. That man died long ago, and there was no way that anyone could bring him back. My hatred wouldn't allow him to live and instead left me. I wasn't who I wanted to be.
I took my Lucy into my arms, her face perfectly illuminated in the light of the raging fire which had consumed Mrs. Lovett.
"There was a barber and his wife,
And she was beautiful.
A foolish barber and his wife,
She was his reason and his life,
And she was beautiful!
And she was virtuous,
And he was..."
He was Benjamin Barker, and I was Sweeney Todd. A hateful man who deserved nothing more than to die. I could hear footsteps behind me. It was Toby. He was going to end my life...finally. I lifted my neck and soon felt the pain of my throat being slit and my blood dripping out of my neck. The last person I ever saw was my Lucy, lying peacefully in my arms.
It was finally done. Sweeney Todd was finally dead...
The End
