Safe
TenTen's POV :
Do you ever got a word or a sentence in your mind and you can't get rid of?
Well, I do and actually I got it right now. Oh the annoyance!
This word that I keep hidden, want to hide it for myself but I can't is : Safe.
Why on earth do I got this word. What's the reason?
To be honest with you.. It frightens me. And I'm not scared easily.
What is safe anyway? When do you feel safe and IF you feel safe.. you might
not be safe at all. Ugh.. Why am I even thinking about it?
''TenTen!'' I hear someone call.
''TenTen, Are you okay?''
I laugh at this, wondering why I may not be okay. '' Hai Neji, I am, why?''
I ask as I look at him. A frown appears upon his forehead. ''Why you ask? Don't you feel any pain?''
I look confused and shake my head.
''You are hurt badly!'' he says with worry what actually was rare for him.
I was just about to reply 'I'm not!' when I felt a trickle blood dripping out of my mouth,
and lands on my shirt.
I try to stand up but fail miserably. Bruises and blood is what I feel yet I don't know
how I got them. I still don't feel much pain, yea a little now but not much.
I keep trying to get up, won't let anyone help me, until I faint.
Neji's POV :
I watch her fail every attempt to stand up, until she faints. I sigh and pick up her limp body.
In bridal style I bring her to her room. Gentle I lay her on the bed, waiting patiently for her
to wake up.
TenTen's Dream :
TenTen's parents and TenTen are in their car driving home. She feels safe. But losing
control makes the car crash into a tree. TenTen's hurt badly, can't think of any reason
why she's not unconscious, and her parents are, while she actually should be.
She crawls out of the car, trying to save her parents but in vain. It's too late. the car
blows up and TenTen gets blown away. She's crying until she falls on the ground and
hit her head. She opens her eyes for a second sees many people standing around her
until she passed out.
TenTen's POV :
I scream as I wake up. I see Neji jump up cuz of my scream.
''Wha- what happened?'' I ask now I see where I am.
''You fainted and I brought you home.'' Neji said coldly.
I blush slightly trying not to show as I reply ''Thanks''
There's am awkward silence between us that Neji breaks.
''You have to rest now. I tell Gai-sensei you'll skip training today.'' Neji said.
He said a goodbye and stands up.
There's this weird feeling.
The feeling of trust, the feeling of love, the feeling of... safety.
I hold on to his arm and hug him. I feel he returns the embrace what quite shocked me.
I never thought he would return it.
I smile and I whisper softly :
''I feel safe with you,.. just you..''
