Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
Tora tossed and turned. "Ithilmor!" she cried in her sleep, descending into a pit of despair as she recalled being torn away from her home, her loved ones, and her world - to a strange place made of towering metal where there were glowing swords and strange powers for her to master.
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the stars from me
Tora looked up at the stars as she wept on the Temple rooftop. "Elbereth!"
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't coming back
The ship trembled as it entered the unfamiliar atmosphere, and all went black as it hit the trees. When Tora woke hours later, she was in a more familiar land than the many worlds she had spent decades in.
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the stars from me
The bean hit the ground, and Tora jumped, but the world she arrived in was not the Arda she remembered. The old man seemed to recognize her though, and she thought maybe he might've been a blue wizard at some point.
There's no way I can leave
I'm trapped here for eternity
But you can't take the stars from me
Tora screamed as she awoke, and her husband wrapped his arms around her, murmuring soothingly as he rocked her side to side. "It's okay," Fred whispered, "it's okay." Tora clutched at his strong arms and breathed in his scent as she stared at the stars through their bedroom window.
You can't take the stars from me
