Cassandra and Rachel were a couple by now .They've been together a year. Since Rachel wasn't in her class anymore they started going out, so they made it official. Of course it was shocking when they spread the news about their relationship Kurt couldn't believe it but he wasn't that surprise when it came about Rachel's sexuality, he kind of sensed something about it but he definitely didn't think that she could have a crush towards Cassandra 'crazy' July. Rachel often came crying because of her teacher's sarcastic insults or spent hours and hours trying to improve her dance to prove Cassie that she had what it takes to make it into this business.

Kurt had to get used to it but he couldn't stop thinking that there was something about her best friends that was kind of masochist but he knew Rachel was happy so he was going to support her.

Cassandra didn't have many friends and she actually didn't care about people knowing about Rachel-not that she was ashamed about her-but she thought that her relationship was no ones business.

This love was new to Cassie. She never experienced anything like this before and she couldn't help but feel a bit scared. Cassandra never allowed herself to fall in love like this. Relationships weren't easy for her; the fact that she had to open up herself to people didn't like it at all. All her life she tried to push people away because of her fear to be perceive as vulnerable terrified her, especially after that accident she had years ago on Broadway. After that incident everybody knew her as Crazy July. She tried that bad comments never get under her skin but when she was all alone in her loft in SoHo she couldn“t help but go to her cabinet and drown herself in vodka 'till she couldn't take it anymore. Even though she wouldn't admit it she felt lonely and she couldn't get anyone to understand her. Part of her was tired from all this. Yes, she had a prestigious job in which she get a lot of money but deep inside of her Cassie knew she wasn't made to teach to some annoying, disrespectful, self-absorbed students but she got paid for it and Cassie didn't have another option because she knew that no one was going to hired her because of her past records. She was starting to grow bitter about her life and her only savior was the alcohol but that was until she met Rachel.

Cassie loved Rachel with every fever of her body and soul. When she was with her everything was perfect, everything made sense. But it wasn't easy for Cassie to let her guard down, but she knew she needed to if she wanted this relationship to work. She gave all the cards for Rachel. Cassie never felt like this and she hated herself for allowing this to happen and hated Rachel for appearing in her class but maybe it was destiny or whatever it was.

When she first laid her eyes on Rachel she knew she was a different girl -not like her others mediocre students- she was something else. Cassie knew Rachel had what it takes so when it came about her methods she didn't regret any of her 'insults' or nicknames that she gave. At the end of the day, she just wanted to teach her that it was a whole new world outside NYADA. Maybe her methods weren't the best but look where it led Rachel! Of course, Rachel was born for this, she had her own talent but part of it was all because of Cassandra. She challenged her in so many ways. Cassie taught her that life wasn't fair all the time and in order to get what you wanted you'd to go and get it.

They loved each other way too much. They did everything together but their relationship wasn't all butterflies and rainbows.
