Zutara, set in Legend of Korra! Okay so this is one of my two Avatar fics and I really hope you enjoy this story. I don't own avatar but I really wish I do, but do I really look like a 40 year old man?

87 year old Zuko sat next to the equally old women who was Katara. Both of them were in the Southern Water tribe just outside the headquarters of The Order of the White Lotus. Zuko had made a pit stop here to visit his friend. Katara and Zuko had grown close through the years after Aangs death. Some would say that they had become romantically inclined.

Romantically inclined, well since both of them were single. Aang had died of old age of 166 and his wife had died in complications of child birth, he had one daughter named Ursa after his mother. Even though he did find her, that is still his daughters name.

"Zuko so how is Ursa? She knows how much I like her to ask," said Katara bending the water together in her soup to cool it down. Zuko had heated up way too much. Now they were sipping on theres the members of the White Lotus were some where inside probably watching them from up on the second floor.

"She likes you too. She's doing good actually, and expecting a baby this August," said Zuko taking a sip of his own soup. Hmm chicken noodle, and without being aware of it, took Kataras hand.

The younger women looked over at Zuko with a smile. She took his hand as well, and looked down at the moon reflecting on the water in front of them.

Zuko looking like a thinner version of his uncle, and Katara somewhat like her grandma Kanna. On lookers would guess a little romance was going on between the older couple.

"I just got a letter from Jinora actually. She says the avatar has taken interest in a boy in Republic City," said Katara to Zuko. At this she had to smile love was a lovely, wonderful thing. She had gotten married to Aang herself when she was only 19 years old.

"Tell her I feel sorry for the poor boy he doesn't know what he got himself into," joked Zuko. He had personally taught Korra how to fire bend. That girl was quick to action and stubborn as himself almost.

"She also asked if we were getting married," said Katara rolling her eyes at the absurdness of it. Zuko looked at her playfully.

"How did she know?"

Katara looked at him questioningly and her eyes wide open. She opened her mouth and pressed her lips together. Zuko wasn't actually serious was he? They were both old and were once already married. It would actually be like her grandmothers relationship with master Pakku.

"Are you serious Zuko?" asked Katara bewildered.

"No first I would need to take you on a proper date, then we decide from there," said Zuko with a soft smile. Oh Zuko. It would be nice to get out of the Southern Water Tribe though at least for a few days. It has been awhile since she had done any traveling.

"Fine one proper date outside of the tribe," she said leaving Zuko to stare at her in wonder.
