A/N- A collection of Harry Potter drabbles, mostly inspired by songs. It will be updated sporadically if I write more. Most pairings are fair game, but the rating of the pieces should never go above T. Un-beta-ed so all mistakes are mine.

Change Your Mind- All American Rejects (Ginny/Harry)

Ginny couldn't find a way to spin this so it made sense. Harry could go on all he wanted about how being with him put her in danger, but she excelled at doing that herself anyway. And it wasn't as though he didn't still care. Really, how stupid would Voldemort have to be to think he wouldn't care about her just because they broke up?

What really worried Ginny was the thought that Harry was trying to break off all ties before he left. She knew he wasn't keen on Ron and Hermione accompanying him. What if he wasn't planning on coming back alive?

A Boy Named Sue- Jonny Cash (Albus Severus and Scorpius, slash if you've got your goggles on)

"Albus Serverus?" A snide voice asked. "What did you ever do to deserve that name?"

"How drunk were your parents when they decided to name you Scorpius?"

"It was the name of my grandfather for your information. It's a perfectly honorable name."

"Well, I was named after two headmasters of Hogwarts. And my father says Severus Snape was the bravest man he ever knew."

"Yeah, okay. But really. I cannot be the only person to tell you it's a sad, sad name."

"You've never gotten made fun of for your name?"

"Touche."

The Fairy Godmother Song- Shrek 2

Our Time Now- Plain White T's (Marauder's Era)

Their last night at Hogwarts might have been the greatest night of their lives. Finally, they were of age and out of school. Sirius and James planned to make this the biggest party they could manage. And if some of the merriment was a little forced, well that came with the world they were inheriting.

There was music, dancing, food, and drink. Anything to forget the reality that Voldemort was out there, that this was the real world. That nothing would be the same.
