Teen Titans : Shame's Sorrow
She was destined to end it all. To Reign down the Terror made possible from the demons blood running through her veins. She was to kill them all.
And she was ashamed.
The Titan's ran through another mellow day in the tower. Robin was training in the weight room. Cyborg in the Garage perfecting the T-Car. Starfire was floating around giddily as par usual. Beast Boy attempting to get Raven to laugh, and failing miserably.
"Aw, C'mon Rae, You don't really want to read that musty book all day." The Green Teen whined. He was standing behind the couch, practically hovering over Raven. This had been going on for awhile. He would whip out corny joke after corny joke, but to no avail. At times he could swear he could see the slightest bit of a smile on her lips, but then again, maybe it was just the light reflecting through the giant windows playing tricks on his eyes. He would do anything just to alight those beautiful amethyst eyes with laughter.
"Yes, Beast Boy, I do. Now for the last time, will you leave be in peace!" Even as she said it she knew it wasn't going o be the last time. And yet, she didn't entirely lament it. They way he devotedly spent hours just trying to get her to smile. Oh, how she wished she could give him what he wanted. But as always, she must remain neutral. She has to keep composure. She can't even show all of the happiness that he brings her everyday. Just the thought of his goofy smile, his silly antics, his gorgeous Green eyes. Although at times he does go to far, most of the time she can't help but find him funny.
BEEP BEEP BEEP
The alarm. Robin's famous catch phrase. "Titans Go"
It was Dr.Light. Once again trying to flood the city with ongoing daylight. Only, this time something seemed different. It was as if the light was being drained from the sky. As the sky grew darker and darker, the horizon the scarlet of blood. One by one the stars that they shouldn't even be able to see yet, since it was only around 2:oo, seemed to be blinking out of the sky in small fiery novas. The sun, seemed to have vanished altogether. The Titans, for a moment, seemed stunned. All except Raven. She stood horror struck as her most horribly nightmares seemed to be becoming all to real. Shaking furiously , she looked down to see the horrible scars. The Lines of Prophesy written on her ashen skin.
"no, No, NO!" she screamed. The rest of the Titans turned just in time, as just at that moment, for all of the light being pent up in Dr.Light's suit seemed to flood out just at that moment. A blinding, paralyzing light rushed through the city. The Titans lay dumb struck as the light faded. Only to find Dr.light gone, disseminated into the air, And Raven standing, staring into the blood-red abyss of a horizon.
"Rae,.." Beast Boy whimpered from his place on the ground. The other Titans slowly staggered to their feet. Suddenly a low rumble seemed to resonate through the earth, transforming into a violent earthquake. In places the ground jutted up leaving chasms and Ridges. On one of these stood raven. As she turned and looked down upon her comrades, her eyes white, and what seemed to be a tear streaking down her facwe she called,
"I'm Sorry"
