Chapter 1. Sushi

It was a rainy Tuesday in Hollywood. According to the news, it would rain in a couple of weeks. Beck Oliver woke up at 6.15 and decided that a cup of burning hot coffee would give him more energy, he had just been sleeping for a couple of houres. Beck got dressed and started to walk aroumd in his RV (he lived in a RV in his parents yard) to find his keys.

Meanwhile, Jade West drank her third cup of coffee, black with two sugarcubes. Jade had an obsession with scissors, they were everywere in her room, for example there was three scissors underneath her pillow, and more than 15 in her schoolbag. For safety, and for fun.

This morning they both would meet for the first time at the First day at Hollywood arts Highschool.

Beck left his RV and walked instead right to his car to drive to school. He didn't mind the rain, he thought that it was calming.

Jade went down the stairs and ignored her mother who was in livingroom watching TV. She left the house with her black-and-red coat and started up the black rather old car. Jade wasn't late (ten minutes to go) but almost the whole parkinglot were full of cars. Finally she found a spot on the north part of the parkinglot.

Beck stood by his locker (number 138) and looked at it. He had finally decorated it. It was both creative and deep. He had just opened it when he heard a loud sound from the locker next to his. He looked to his left. A brown-haired girl was throwing her school books into the locker then closed it with a "smash" and opened her schoolbag. From the bag she put out a bid bottle of glue and put glue on the locker. Beck pretended to read his schoolbooks by his locker just to see how she would decorate her locker, if he had been enough creative with his.

The girl put out plenty of ... scissors and put them at the glued locker. Scissors? Well ... he was pretty sure that she was the first one with that idea. "What are you staring at?" the girl said and it took several seconds for Beck to understand that the girl was talking to him. Her blue eyes stared at him. "Just ... I've never seen so many scissors..." he began but then he just didn't know what to say. "Well, congratulations, now you have!" The girl said and took her schoolbag which now only had about 5 scissors in it and walked away.

Beck had lunch with a guy he had met in class. His name was Andre and they took the same acting class. He took another slice of his pizza (cheese, ham, onion and olivs). His eyes suddenly found the girl with the scissors, "Jade West", they also had some classes together. Now she was eating avocadosushi with a friend. Actually, it seemed like all her sushi was avocadosushis. she was sitting next to a girl with really red hair called Cat. Suddenly Jade's eyes came in contact with his for a moment and then she quickly looked away.
