Prologue

One out of six starts a war of whim,

believing he'll go places,

Falsehood, envy, sin afflict him;

he sees not what he faces.

The second out of six fends off

the misfortunes of the third;

and finds towards the end

what others deeply stirs.

Wrathful vengeance drives the third

from the very start

until someone does release

and gently touch her heart.

He appears so trivial, yet

his jealousy starts fire;

he goes down in denial

and betrays his heart's desire.

Five and six are disparate,

each other's mortal enemy.

Decided is their fate

to issue call for unity.

One life is lost, one life is saved;

Evil is good and Good is depraved;

they suffer pain, they wage a war,

they bring death and suffering;

one cunning little Gryffindor

and a courageous Slytherin.
