Elevator music
Naruto stood in the far corner of the elevator, humming along with the music. There was a loud 'Ding' and the elevator door opened. In stepped a black haired boy. He hit the third floor button on the key pad and mover to the other corner. He stood there, glaring at the elevator door. Naruto blinked. Sasuke just stood there. The elevator lurched into motion, and Naruto nearly fell over. Sasuke smirked. Naruto mumbled something under his breath. They sat in silence for a moment. Then the elevator lurched to a rough stop. Sasuke stepped forward, expecting the door to open. It didn't. Sasuke swore under his breath and lashed out, kicking the door. It still didn't open. He swore again. Naruto just blinked. Sasuke then moved back to his corner. The two gennin stood in silence, listening to the repetitive tune playing over the loudspeaker. Naruto sighed. Sasuke put his hands in his pockets. They stood still for another minute. This is how it went for the next 10 minutes. Silent, except for the music.
"I'm hungry." The orange ninja said. Sasuke glanced at him.
"I think the elevator's stuck. It hasn't moved in 10 minutes." Naruto finished. Sasuke sighed. He had known that ever since the door hadn't opened. Naruto blinked for the third or fourth time. Sasuke shifted his wait to his other foot. Sasuke sighed again.
"Ok I'm bored!" Naruto said. Sasuke rolled his eyes. Naruto sat down on the floor, legs crossed. Sasuke continued to support the wall. Suddenly, in a poof of O-So-Youthful smoke, Gai-Sensai appeared. Sasuke twitched slightly, while Naruto jumped up from his sitting position.
"Hi Gai-Sensai!" Naruto screeched. Gai-Sensai smiled, giving Naruto his famous thumbs up and blinding teeth-glimmering-smile-of-doom.
"Hello, not-Lee!" Gai said in his usual youthful voice. Sasuke just stood there.
"Hello, Sasuke!" Gai said. Sasuke 'hmpfed' at him.
"Why are you here Gai-Sensai?" Naruto asked.
"I'm looking for Lee!" he replied. "But since he's not training, at his house, at sewing club, (To make Oh-So-Youthful Crochet!) Or at the Hokage's place, I decided to look here! Well, I'd better get going." He said, flashing a last smile.
"Wait! Gai-Sensai!" Naruto cried, but he was gone. "How are we going to get out of here?!?!?!?!" Naruto cried out. 'As if Gai-Sensai would have been any help.' Sasuke thought.
"I know!" naruto said, putting his hands in the shadow clone position. Sasuke lunged forwards, breaking the hand seal.
"No! Too much weight might break the elevator!" Sasuke informed him. Naruto sighed.
"Let's try this." Sasuke said. The elevator was filled with the sound of chirping birdies. The elevator door exploded. The two gennins realized then that they were stuck between the second and third floor…
