Castiel knew that what he was doing was wrong, but after he'd had the symbolism of the Angel atop some of the Christmas trees he'd seen last year and now this year explained to him and somehow combined it with the human love of ironic humor, he found that he couldn't resist pulling at least one prank. Angels usually didn't get revenge on their brothers, but considering what this one had done to him recently, he was willing to make an exception.

He had found a good sized tree set up in the park that was a little ways away from the motel in which the Winchester brothers were staying. It had ornaments and lights like the smaller trees that were set up in a large number of the homes in the area and around the world for that matter. The star on top would have to go however.

Less than ten minutes later everything was set up. Less than a half hour later it was done.

AaAaAaA

Dean woke up early Christmas morning, more out of habit than anything. He wasn't feeling particularly festive, what with the Apocalypse and all. He grabbed one of the beers out of the room's mini fridge, turned on the T.V. and began channel surfing.

Ten seconds later beer went spraying everywhere.

"Hey Sam! Wake up!" he yelled as he moved to shake his brother awake.

"Whaaat." Sam groaned sleepily.

"Dude, someone tied Gabriel to the top of a Christmas tree!"
