Electrical
Written for the 'strange, the usual and the time travel' challenge by Mystii
Pairing: Neville/Victoire
Prompt: Sparkle
Obviously AU. Rated for –ahem- sexual themes.
When his eyes catch yours from across the room, you can't deny what you're feeling. Whenever he casts so much as a glance in your direction you get oh-so dizzy. Oh-so starry eyed. It's like a bolt of electricity jolting through your stomach; smouldering and crackling with raw, unbridled emotions.
There's guilt too, running through you're veins. Because it's so exciting; knowing that you could get caught. Just one pair of wandering eyes, or a series of unheard footsteps could mean the end of it all.
It's so sinfully delicious, breaking all the rules. Lying. When his hand lingers on yours in his lessons, the electricity gets so much stronger, like its going to shock you. When you stretch, exposing the pale skin of your stomach, you can just tell it's driving him wild.
It's not like anyone would ever suspect him, he is a war hero, after all. He's the perfect Gryffindor, and therefore the perfect role model to all students.
His lips are pressed against yours so gently, but his arms are wrapped around you tighter than anything. Making you feel safe and warm. And when you tangle your fingers in his hair, he whispers your name in a way that simply shouldn't be allowed. When you're with him, you see the daring, passionate side that only a seldom few have witnessed.
If only you could sparkle. Perhaps then you could use up some of that electricity that's been building up inside of you for so long. There's always a secret smile, hidden, in the corners of your mouth, waiting to get out. However, it can't.
You could have had any boy you wanted crawling at your feet and you know that, (It's that Veela blood, you see) but for you, that simply wasn't good enough, those boys were—well, just that: Boys. You wanted something more. You wanted a man. And on that day you finally noticed him for the first time you knew he was the one.
Sometimes you wonder what your family would think, but he'll always stop your thoughts from going down that path, stunning you with a kiss or a touch, because despite that fact that it's unconventional and wrong, to you, it's right.
It's phenomenal, and electrical. It's love.
Wow. I actually thought that was going to be really difficult to write, but it wasn't at all. The words just kind of came together. I'm pretty happy with this, so please leave a review, even if it's just to say how dreadful you thought it was.
