Ryan Singer's Journal Entry One

Feb. 13th, 2001 (Sometime in the Morning)

My father gave me this journal in hopes to keep me sane. He figured since him and Uncle John had their journals, that I should have one too. I am officially an adult now and how am I spending my 18th birthday? In the Impala with Uncle John, Dean and Sam. I would have preferred my vintage 1965 Mustang but it mysteriously wouldn't turn over. I think the Winchesters and Dad planned it somehow. Where are we going? Some Poh Dunk town in Ohio. There's signs of poltergeists, an easy enough job.

Dean keeps looking back at me probably wondering if I'm writing about him. You see Dean and I have a love/hate relationship. Uncle John and Dad always joke that Sam and I would be "together" but in reality I'm more like Dean. Sure Sam and I are friends, but he wants to get away from hunting. I just can't imagine what I would do without it. I act more like Uncle John than I do my Dad and Dean acts just like Uncle John too. My relationship with Dean is…well complicated. One minute we can be flirting and making out and the next moment we're at each other's throats with Sam separating us. Maybe we're too much alike?

Whatever I like our relationship no matter how messed up it is. Well I got to go the guys are lost again and too macho to admit it, so it's up to me to ask for directions.

Ryan Singer's Journal Entry Two

Feb. 13th, 2001

The hotel only had two rooms with one queen bed in each room and I got stuck with Dean. When am I going to learn that Dean always does scissors? Well I guess I can't complain too much except for the fact that he tends to eat on the bed and hogs the space when sleeping. He's not with me at the moment so I can write whatever I want about him. But I won't, I'll write about our case. A poltergeist is a malevolent spirit that likes to take its anger out on humans. In order to get rid of them you have to salt and burn the ghost's body. We haven't dug up anything mostly because of us getting lost and all. But apparently we're going to start in the morning. Speaking of the guys; what the hell are they up to? Well got to go make sure they're not in trouble.
